Stella is not the mother. Something is gonna play out - another chick will walk up and borrow the umbrella or maybe while they are talking, some old medical
school friend of Stella's will walk by, etc.
Stella belongs with Tony and not in the Upper West Side apartment - she belongs with Tony in Jersey. |

There we go! Personal info: My confirmation name was Cecelia - I loved that song!
Good ep, I kind of hope Stella isn't the mom, but it wouldn't be the worst thing that ever happened. I hope they have something else up their sleeves. |

Does anyone know when future Ted started referring to Robin as "your Aunt Robin" to the kids?
I noticed it last night but can't remember if I had heard it before. |

Yeah he did that in the pilot.

Yeah it was definitely in the pilot. The schtick was that the Mother was obviously Robin, and the series was going to be about their courtship.
Then at the end old Ted calls her Aunt Robin and off to the races we go. So many gems last night. Three letters: LBJ. ETA: an interesting read here: http://www.nj.com/entertainment/tv/index.ssf/2009/05/himym_right_place_right_time_d.html

Over the weekend I bought season 3 on DVD and did a marathon. The post strike episodes were much better than pre strike, but this show continue to amazes me at
how brilliant it can really be. Kudo's to the writers and lets hope there are plenty more seasons to come for HIMYM!!!

A marathon? Of season 3?
Nicely played. Can you offer any fresh insight into the Goat? Slapsgiving: funny or a let-down? Do the DVD's have the full TedMosbyIsAJerk soundtrack? |

Didn't they at one time show the kids with blonde wigs as how they would have looked if Stella were the mother?

ETA; oh and sadly while in NYC no one I met (and I meet a lot of people ) knew nothing of HIMYM) so rather than questions like "are you afraid of the dark?"that i got in New Orleans, I got "You all speak French, right?" and "It must be SOOO cold in Toronto!!" (even though TO is a mere 200 miles north and has typically the same temp... many thought we were under two feet of snow in May)
