So...
Faraday is gone for three years from 1974-1977 supposedly at a Dharma facility in Ann Arbor doing "research".
He comes back, a man with a new mission, and dies that day.
Now, i have to believe we will get further episodes exploring more of Faraday. Those 3 years need answering, at the least.
Please correct me if im wrong but one of these things had to have happened while he was gone:
A) Faraday started skipping through time ala Desmond.
B) Faraday met and talked with somone who knows alot about the Island in the future.
And thats it.
Faraday seems to know alot about the Island when he comes back. He happens to come back the very day "the incident" occurs?? What great planning! He seems to know exactly when Chang is supposed to come out of the Orchid so he could confront him. He knows exactly what time the incident occurs and how it occurs. He also seems to know the chain of events that occur after that.
So, he couldnt have just been tooling around the Dharma acadamy in 1977, cause they obviously wouldnt have info of all that at that time.
You could make the claim that either Eloise or Charles informed him of all those details before he went to the island..but as we saw, Faraday couldnt retain info anyways. And even if he wrote all that info in his book, neither Eloise nor Charles spent any time with Faraday giving him an indepth history course of the island.
So, what happened when Faraday left on the sub for 3 years?
I honestly wouldnt be surprised if we saw Faraday in future episodes as Faraday before he got killed. How? Before finally making the decision and come back to the island the day of the incident in 1977 (and die), he went back to the island at different times in the future after the incident and tried to do various things. To no avail. Which would also correct the Comic Con video problem...he still could have been there to make the video with Chang at a future time, figures it wont work, leaves and comes back at an even earlier point?
Or is it me just trying to wish a way for the Daniel Faraay character to live on for more episodes :P
