Personally, if Adam is going to get booted because of the Gokey religious zeal, then I really wish that he would do a rock song (heavy or glam) exactly how he wants. I would rather he get booted, take-no-prisoners, balls out, singing every high-pitched glory axel-plant-tate-halsford-mercury note his little heart desires. Complete with a flaming headdress, nail polish & my favorite emo hair and tight jeans! I think baby Paisley might like that too! (I thought he was channeling Robert Plant on the end of the high note in the studio version of Feelin' Good)

I wholeheartedly agree - and I love your description of his voice! I still haven't watched the episode - but I caught a glimpse of it on the news - and from the little I saw - Adam look GREAT last night. Love that look.
I don't think I can watch the results show live from here on out. If and when he makes it to the finals, I will be okay with either scenario, but until then - I want him to make it to the finals.
If he doesn't, I won't stop watching as a "I'll show them" tactic to AI - I will simply lose all interest.
