To all the people wondering how/when they're going to change the future. They aren't they're going to make the future. The "what happened,
happened" rule will never be broken, but by knowing the future they're going to try to change it and in doing so cause it. I.E. the Survivors of
Oceanic 815 will cause the incident which will both send them back to the present and start a chain of events which causes their plane to crash. A lot of the
coincidences which permeate the series will be tied up this way. It's not some greater force making things happen. It's the lostaways. No I haven't
been spoiled. It's just the only logical way to tie up this boring mess of a season. If they were going to start playing in paradoxes they would've
done it a long time ago instead of boring the people who've paid attention to death.

Po, what if they were working on a program to "push the button" when the purge happened? Desmond & Radzinsky might have only been the temporary
pushers until "HE" (the person to tell them the program was done) came to relieve them of their duty.

I might be really messing things up in the whole timeline, but...
We know for sure now that Widmore is Faraday's dad. We also know that he gets exiled from the island because he has a relationship with an outsider. Could this imply that Eloise gets exiled from the others, maybe because she killed a Dharma person which is against the truce? Because if so then she might have her own hidden agenda that is very different from the will of the island. |

I am assuming the "outsider" was Penny's mom. And now we know that Daniel and Penny are half-brother and sister. Hence, Daniel is Penny's
brother from an"other" mother.

This is the very first time an episode left me angry... watching him walk into the camp waving the gun around was ridiculously frustrating...
ETA... but... after watching him fake cry for most of the episode, I am glad he's dead. |

Wow -- Daniel is DEAD DEAD DEAD. I bet Eloise is pregnant with him when she shot him --- a lovely paradox. Little Charlotte saying her dying words to Daniel

Eloise had to keep Desmond from asking Penny to marry him so he could be on the island to be Daniel's constant when they were flashing. She also knew it would be a waste because she killed Daniel. The fail-safe key that Des turned must have triggered Jughead to stop the electromagnetic problems. I bet that Miles will be instrumental in some how getting his Mommy and his babyself off the island before the incident, therefore being the actual cause of his separation from his father. I agree that the "What happened, happened." rule. I think that the Losties and Freighties will actually cause the incident in trying to prevent it. It is why they had to be there. My guess is that somewhere down the line, someone is going to be presented with the opportunity to really change what happens. Then they will realize that if they change what happens, then they will not be with or even know who they are with (and love). Instead of changing what happens, they will let what happens, happen. Sun and Jin will somehow be involved. It will all come full circle with the series final episode ending with everyone getting on Oceanic 815 for it all to happen again.....and again......and again. |

I think Eloise and Charles still want to change the future...so that they can remain on the island...and raise their son, Daniel...which was why she was
willing to let Daniel from the future go back and die.
Also, how many more episodes are left this season? When is the finale? |
