Bah, why are they going this route with the change the past stuff now? If the plane never crashes, then they never are on the island, hence, never go into
the past, and never change things so it doesn't crash. This is why you don't bring things like that into these shows. -_-

for Daniel, but frankly I was never all that much of a fan of the character in the first place. Oh well! Bye bye!

Yeah, what a predictably shitty episode. Worse episode of the season. Every asshole character acted at their assholiest. Every character did every dumb thing they could do. Lets get guns and wave them around like idiots! Lets not sit down and discuss things when everyone is gathered, lets split up and fuck each other over! When Kate said: "Let's get gun," I was like "WTF?!?!?" How many times have you visited the Others by now and how many times have they not killed you even though they've had plenty of opportunities already? Didn't she know there was a truce thing in effect? |

Daniel walking into the camp waving a gun around was pretty out of character for him. I also think he is wrong about being able to change the past and they
will fail at trying to stop the incident. Or maybe they will cause the incident. Either way, the incident will happen as it should, and they will end up back
in the present.

OK, here's my take - if the writer's have any sense. Something will happen to convince '70's Elloise that she did the right thing between the
time she killed Daniel and the time she raised him. Maybe she did it for the other O6ers.
And, do you really think Kate would change things so that the plane never crashes? As of now, she is a free woman with a love for two men and a baby. If the plane doesn't crash, she will never meet Jack, Sawyer or Arron and she will likely spend a long time in prison. Jack will never meet the woman he loves. Sawyer will never get justice by killing the real Sawyer and spend the rest of his life feeling guilty for killing the wrong man. And I don't have to mention Locke. The ONLY one I can think of that would change things would be Sayid, so he could be with Naydia. But, for everyone else - given the chance to change things; I don't think they will. |

I LOVED the episode.
My complaint though comes from the Comic-Con footage from last season where we saw Pierre Chang do a video (his baby son offscreen) where he told the audience that he was told from the future that the president was George Bush, etc... and that the DHARMA initiative must be reconstituted. The video was (confirmed) filmed (and narrated) by Daniel. So when the hell did this happen? If Faraday dies before he convinces Chang that he is indeed from the future, when did he have time to shoot a video with him? Can anyone clear this up? Here is the video: Chang video filmed by Daniel

Patchy seemed to die and come back from the dead. Why not Daniel? I think it was more important for Daniel to return to the island and get "healed"
than it was for him to remain a looney toon in the real world. He probably needed to die healed and mentally complete on the island for personal redemption,
or to further some cause of the island in the future. Besides, if the explosion is going to happen in 4 hours it just might do something miraculous to
Daniel's body, sort of like Spock being resurrected on the Genesis planet.
