Kris - It was almost perfect minus the few clunker notes. He's still better than WifeKiller! 3. Allison - Beautiful and tender performance. A little too gritty in spots for me. 4. Danny - Powerful vocal easily one of his best. Can't deny the man can sing. 5.Matt - Not good enough. It was better at the end but he was pitchy and affected in the beginning. GOING HOME: Matt. (Allison also has a slim chance)

All of Danny's songs sort of sound alike to me each week. This will too. After watching: Yes, he did sound alike but his style was perfect for this song and I actually enjoyed it. 2. Kris probably picked the easiest to sing and I can see him doing a good job on this. After watching: Not much to add. He stands out because he does not go over-board. He should teach the others about subtlety. 3. I hope Adam finally emotionally connects and doesn't make me think he is auditioning for all the parts in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." After watching: Nope, he continues to perfect the art of over-dramatizing and seems incapable of understanding that a song is more than how well you can belt it out (vocally he is great.) 4. It will be nice to see if Allison can sing an entire song without screaching through most/part of it. I think this song could help her achieve that. After watching: Nope. Allison completely missed the beautiful tenderness and longing that this song calls for. I was most dissapointed in her. 5. I doubt Matt can pull this off and this could be the end for him. He probably should play piano on this. After watching: He should have played the piano to help loosen him up. Man, he was nervous. Jaime gave him some bad advice. I think he is done. Adam's vocal control is unquestionable, but I just hate the tone of his upper register. Other rock singers (and I still say Adam's nowhere near being a hard rocker, nor do I think he even wants to be) like Freddie Mercury or Steven Tyler or Robert Plant have upper registers that really open up when go all out, but Adam's seems to close up. It becomes very flat (not flat as in too low for the note, but in timbre). He voice, for all of its range, really lacks richness.

Kris - I can see how some say he was boring but I loved it 3. Danny - can't believe I'm placing hime this high but he was actually decent, still I want him gone 4. Adam - I liked the 1st half of the song but then he had to go ahead and screech the rest of it. He's probably going to win (deservedly so)but I don't think I'll ever really like his style of singing. 5. Matt - like someone else mentioned, he was a fave of mine at the start kind of like Elliott but Elliot he is not. It was ok to a point but nowhere near some of the others. B: Matt H: Danny G: Matt

Adam has a lot of skill, but at the end of the day, if the vocal instrument isn't pleasing, it doesn't matter what he does with it... I have actually grown to like it on his more laid-back tunes. His timber of voice was really nice in Mad World and Tracks of My (insert consonant here)ears. I agree that on tracks like Born To Be Wild he does not work so well, and actually makes me yawn a bit. I also find that his appeal is wearing off on many viewers. Expect an Allison win, or Kris... though Kris still, overall, pleasing as his voice is, is nothing spectacular to me. 1. Allison 2. Adam 3.
