Dagny reminded me of something. Everyone keeps saying Melissa is practically a professional because of her cheerleading experience.

Did anyone see the Gingerbeasts on Amazing Race? They picked the dancing task and it was a disaster. They couldn't learn the choreography and they sure as heck couldn't dance. More like clomp to me.

It was because those idiots couldn't speak English! How dare they make Jaime raise her angelic voice!

Honestly though, they did the steps fine once they learned the routine, and there's really no comparison because they learned the routine (and style) in like 15 minutes, from teachers they couldn't communicate with. There only problem after that was that they only did the series of steps once, and thought they were done, even though they had to keep going until the music stopped.

And they did a little routine for Phil at the pit-stop that looked fine (not that pit-stop, but the one in Siberia, when Christie/Jodi got first).

But yeah, considering Melissa had the same job that people like Courtney, Chelsea, and Susie posessed on SYTYCD, it's hard not to say she is "practically" a professional.
