From Entertainment Weekly
1) Claire is now furniture. The poor girl went from being the focal point of an entire network ("Save the cheerleader, save NBC") to, literally, being pushed around by Sylar like an ottoman. She went from vital to annoying to scenery. 2) Angela Petrelli knows how to howl. When that thing that happens at the end of the episode -- you remember, Sylar killing Nathan -- and Angela finds the body, she lets loose this cry of anguish that was, maybe, the most convincing thing all season. 3) That last twist was pretty good. With her son dead, Angela coaxes Parkman into mind-wiping Sylar so the shapeshifter believes that he's Nathan Petrelli. And no one knows but Angela, Parkman, and Noah. And "Nathan" -- the wolf who doesn't even know he's in sheep's clothing -- has thing for clocks. (In a little nod to Watchmen, the last thing we see Nathan do is change the time to 11:55.) Not bad, Heroes, not bad. 4) We'll never see heroes fighting again. So we get to the pivotal moment of the episode -- when Nathan and Peter make amends just in time to team up and take on Sylar -- and the brothers storm into a hotel suite, ready to face off with electro-fisted Sylar. The doors close, and we're outside the room with Furniture Claire, and all we see of the fight is blue flashes reflected in Claire's eyes. Seriously? You've got a show with characters who can fly and throw fire and do all kinds of crazy-awesome comic-book stuff...and you don't show us the climactic clash of the titans? Battlestar Galactica, for it's occasional devolution into talking pseudo-religious pabulum, knew that the audience needed the space battles and shootouts; knew that after so much plot buildup, we needed that explosive release. Does Heroes just not know how to do action? What's a budget for, if not to blow it in the season finale? Why tune into a show that steadfastly refused to give you what you want? I'll say it: Heroes is a tease. |

I agree, I can't even remember a the last time HEROES had a really really good fight scene.
OH WAIT! That scene during the fourth episode of Villains where they went to the future "I Am Become Death" where future Knox, Claire, & Daphne went to Sylar's house and they all fought. That was a good fight scene, but that's like the only good one I can remember. |

The season wasn't very good. The finale was meh but next season looks promising with Tracey back. Ali Larter thrives when she kicks butt.
I would really prefer that both Nathan and Sylar were gone, if not for good, for a season or two. I really don't like either character and don't see their place on the show anymore after the terrible writing for them the past two seasons. When they were redeeming Sylar, I didn't want to see that. Then, about the time I was like "Well, okay, let's go with it" they turned him back into a mustache twirling villain. I don't recall Claire's blood saving Nathan (it was Adam's right? and only to HEAL his burn scars not save his life) so you'd think they would have at least tried to save Nathan with Claire's blood before allowing a shapeshifting maniac to walk the streets in a role of power with access to the bodies of many powerful people. Oh well, it sets up a potentially good season four because when Claire & Peter find out the real Nathan is dead and Angela and Noah kept that from them and didn't let them mourn and put their arch-enemy right into the thick of their lives, well the sh*t is going to h*t the fan and that will be good. I liked the resurrection of Peter and I hope they make season four more about him. I would like to see Peter and Tracey hook up. Ever since that flash forward episode in Season 1 where they had Nikki and Peter together, I was hoping that they'd let Milo and Ali work together again. They need to figure out what to do with Matt. I don't want him in goofy love stories like Daphne. I like that he has the most kick ass power on the show - the ability to tell people what to think. They need to pay that up more or find a career for him where that works. Like I wouldn't mind season 4 opening up and he's a drug counselor at a rehab facility or a prison guard. That would be funny. I think Bryan Fuller will really help to bring back some focus and reliability so I hope they get a Season 4 and I'll definitely tune in and check it out despite the crapfest of the last two years that basically nearly destroyed what was once a promising show. The writers of the last two years disrespected the audience almost with every page of the script and wrote like they could care less. |

They should bring in a baker that can resurrect people.
Wouldn't it be natural for Matt to work for the Company? |

I'm done with Heroes. The finale and the season as a whole were crap. Sylar being Nathan now is completely stupid. Like everyone said, you know Sylar
will be back in a couple of episodes. That to me is a slap in the face. It's like they don't even have any respect for the viewers that are left.
Heroes has wasted enough of my time. I haven't seen anything that shows me that Heroes will recover. I'm amazed how far this show has fallen.

Honestly, NBC needs to call Joss Whedon up and offer the whole freaking show to him. Maybe we could even give Eliza some work in season 4. The writers clearly
have no idea what a story or character arc is, the dialogue has always been horrible(even season 1), and for the love of all that's holy why can't they
show some action for fucks sake.

Mybe someone just needs to buy the writers some comic books

Actors like Milo and Hayden would thrive under a Joss Whedon script. Hell, they're almost Xander and Buffy already. Heroes is like what Buffy
would have been with shitty writing.

Hey, prospects for Dollhouse may be grim, but let's not doom poor Joss completely. I'd rather see him attempt a dozen more interesting failures than
latch onto this shit while it's on its way out.

Yeah, add me to the chorus -- the problem isn't the Nathan storyline, it's that it's STILL SYLAR. I don't understand the lovefest this
character gets, and why the show is so reluctant to get rid of him in favor of another villain. Seriously, are people really that in love with him? Would
people stop watching the show? Ugh. Double ugh.
Fuller, if you want to make us love you forever (and piss off a ton of people), please do the following scene: Sylar/Nathan having coffee with Peter, Angela, and Claire. Sylar/Nathan: I left my phone in the car. Be right back! (Goes to car -- gets nailed by a passing taxi driven by Mohinder that careens into a building and explodes; Nathan reverts to Sylar and dies) Claire: Hey, Nathan was Sylar. Peter: Huh. Angela: Yeah, we had to come up with something quick. Sorry. Claire: Oh well, I've got spares for all my family members. Let's go shopping! Peter (looking over his shoulder): Was that Mohinder? Angela (dragging them away with charge card in hand): Probably. Who cares? |

This idea is obviously too good to actually see happen. |

It was Micah, and you gave up right before the best episode of the season. |

Let's play a game during the off-season where we try to type out the script for the scene in which Naylar realizes he's actually Sylar.
Anyone up for it? |

I gave up before Rebel was revealed. Who was it?? Oh yeah, about that. Where the fuck was Rebel? Why did they bring him up at all if he ends up being ineffective and having nothing to do with saving the heroes? I thought the point was that a unified group of heroes was developing, not that all the heroes would be saved by Hiro just popping in and just stopping time and moving stuff around. Again, what was the point? Why did Micah/Rebel keep saying that help was coming when, in fact, it wasn't coming -- at least from him? |

Oh, and did anyone else laugh when Noah yells "Call 911" when Hiro was having a stroke?
Like what the fuck did they think would happen? The police and emergency service would just show and take away three wanted fugitives to the hospital no questions asked. Even after they broke into a secret government facility where all the staff have been placed into coma's and a host of other fugitives released? So fucking stupid. |
