I mean, curing a disease or two would be kinda the same thing but so much less dramatic. I also think that since everthing else can be wireless, the body should be too. So if a cord is damaged and you are paralized, you get a chip in your limb and your brain is the controller. Although that could make for some crazy hijinx like if your leg were on the same frequency as the autodoor at the grocery store and it made you kick old ladies or something. Ok.
