I knew I recognized Castiel from somewhere - Misha Collins played one of the Drazen brothers in the 1st season of 24.

BUMPING for tonight.

I love how they titled it -- as you'll recall from the previews, there's going to be a Winchester half brother showing up. So they're calling it
"Jump the Shark."

Desperately hoping that the half-brother is not really a half-brother. Or... he dies quickly.

Well...that was intense. A lot of things going on in the last 15 minutes. But the most noteable - Sam has been bled. Does this mean his demon powers will
diminish?

Good point. And I wonder what happens if a ghoul drinks demon blood.
Nice dancing aroung jumping the shark tonihgt, as suspected. But I don't get it -- were the F2 ghouls children of the ghouls that John W had killed? Ghouls are strange. I hate the fuckers. Zombies I get, ghouls are just plain weird. |

Isn't that the first time we have seen them battle ghouls?
They are creepy motherfuckers. I do believe the ghouls were kids of the ghoul Daddy Winchester killed. They 'hunted' down his family when they got strong enough to is my impression. |

reggierules wrote: He met and exceeded your expectations. I did feel a tinge of guilt when Dean found him chewed up and cold. That momentary lapse lasted until I remembered Dean's longing glances at what he always wanted with dad. Now for next week. They'd better not cast off Castiel's meat suit like they did with TRuby for budget reasons. Misha deserves to fight the fight through to the end since they plan on stretching this arc to the season 5 finale. Is Bobby ever going to show up again? Sigh. |

Bobby is playing the role of Sheriff on Harper's Island, so I'm thinking he'll be back next season.
I WANT CASTIEL AS A REGULAR, GODDAMNIT! I adore him |

It seems wrong to see him as other than 'Bobby' so I haven't watched Harper's Island. Katie is over there too, right?
Agree with Castiel/Misha as a series regular. He's fit in naturally from the first day and it would be a shame to replace the actor. |

nice to have Supernatural back! I wonder whatever happened to the chick that was pregnant with a Ghoul awhile back? I admit, I wanted the brother to go away
and I too felt guilty when it was revealed that he was in fact their brother - and he and his mom were killed. Toppled by the fact that they ate him slowly.
Very sad.

StepsOnToes wrote:Yup. Along with Ronald, the guy who thought the shapeshifter was a "mandroid" in one of my all-time favorite eps "Nightshifter." It would be great if we get John back for season 5. From older interviews, he really digs the show and asked Kripe to get him back on in some way. |

I can't see why they'd need him back. I mean, other than having JDM who was really outstanding in this role.
But I don't get why he'd be needed. Other than to smack the stupid out of Sam.

reggierules wrote:Yeah, I don't think they need him back. However they have referenced him quite a few different times this season. Plus Sam mentioned asking Cas to do Dean a favor and bring the boy back at the end of the episode... It just kinda got me wondering. He did come back for "All hell breaks loose" which was a small but cool appearance. And as you said, JDM is awesome. I'm just thinking out loud... He probably will stay gone. |

I think he may be back in flashback form, maybe. As you said, JDM has mentioned wanting to come back. But he's too busy having ghost sex with Katheryn
Heigl. (
I'm trying to figure out the long-term plans the writer's have. I can't imagine ALL of season 5 is going to be Dean Versus Sam. I mean...this show revolves, relies, insists upon the brothers' chemistry. If they're at odds, what exactly...are they going to rely on? |

Bobby is essential to the overall emotional/spiritual health of the Dean and Sam. He is more of a father to them then their own father was. So yes, he is
needed on the show.
I miss him and his common sense when the boys loose their way. |

Holy fuck. Loved the Castiel backstory and his parting words to Dean.
Loved Bobby coming back. Sam looked freaking demonic after he fed on the demon. I love this show. I seriously love it. I watch it live and download The Office and 30 Rock now. |
