I don't believe that Lee wasn't embarrassed by the documentary/HBO movie.
Just finished watching The Beales of Grey Gardens and am more in love with Little Edie now. I want to know more about her life in Florida after she sold the house. Thank you to everyone for all the links pertaining to these wonderful ladies. Now off to dinner and movie. We're going to see 17 Again. I am needing a twink (Zac Efron) fix after spending so many hours with old ladies. |

One of the captions says there were 52 dead cats when they bought the house. I wonder if Little Edie stopped feeding cats after her mother died, or if they
were just the corpses from years ago?
I would love to know more about Little Edie's time in Florida too. The only snippet I read about that is that her house was spotless and there were no cats. Oh, and that she returned to Grey Gardens and told Sally that she had ruined it.

Now the NY Post is reporting Emmy Drama. Seems TPTB felt they would get more Emmy wins if Drew was in the Best Actress catagory and Jessica was in the
supporting catagory. Jessica said no, because she feels it is beneath her and that they both shared the screen.
So now they'll both be up for best actress and they will split the votes and neither will probably win. I really do feel, even though both were amazing and had alot of screen time, Grey Gardens was really Little Edie's story. I'd be interested to hear other opinions. |

I think they were both amazing, however, I feel Jessica was better. I disagree they should be in the same category though. Jessica's should be a supporting role, but barely. |

Melissa/Joan relationship makes me think they may have a similar fate as Big and Little Edy
