Spoiler [+] On the show's 100th episode, Dunder Mifflin sponsors an "eventful" company picnic, at which guest stars (and Wire vets) Amy Ryan and Idris Elba will no doubt charm and torture Michael Scott, respectively. What's that? You were hoping to see Jim and Pam's nuptials by the end of the season? Well, pick up the shattered pieces of your life and move on, because it ain't going to happen. We're hearing that the honour of our presence will instead be requested for a fall wedding.

Her fake-firing made for a great introduction to Michael for her...and it looks like they're setting her up to be just as neurotic as the rest of them with a need to be liked. I hope we get a B-story next week with her trying to get everyone to like her.

Featuring the supporting characters was the perfect way to go after the heaviness of last week; a lot of the bits almost seemed like shelved ideas for webisodes, nttawwt. I figured Kevin's chili opening would be the best part of the night but by the end I'd forgotten all about it. I'd watch a spinoff that was nothing but Creed playing chess with people. I want to see more of Erin, in more ways than one.

Erin, the new girl, is great. Ellie Kemper from "Upright Citizen's Brigade"...she stars in the really popular viral video about bad blowjobs. Hysterical (if you havent seen it you should). It really is unfair that this show has a monopoly on funny women...Phyllis, Kelly, Erin, Meredith...even Kim on good days. 30 Rock wishes...

LOVED the Casual Friday outfits especially Kelly's. Meredith's too. Fantastic stuff. Very glad Pam got the job :) Michael doing the fake firing was very David Brent but still funny in a Michael Scott way. Jim looked extra cute this week too.

Even while I was watching it I was thinking I could watch it over and over and still be laughing as hard. I did watch the scene with Meredith's dress twice. The first time I was howling with laughter. Kelly: Where are your panties??? Meredith: It's Casual Friday!! Then everyone groaned as she bent over at the copy machine and her ass was hanging out. I loved Dwight using Ryan's coffee mug for the urine in his invisible ink... and I even laughed at Andy's dumb line, "It's on like a prawn that yawns at dawn."
