I wouldn't be surprised if he had Elliot Yamin-type success. He clearly knows who he wants to be as an artists and his fans won't be disappointed by his first album. I happen to love his style of music (I think it's largely due to the great vocal nuances the artists often have) and could listen to it all day, but lots of people find it too bland and/or boring. There's already one Jason Mraz and I don't think pop mainstream could sustain two. Kris would need some majorly awesome singles to get any sort of dynamite career.

There is nothing wrong with that if you can make a living doing what you love. Winning puts a lot of pressure on the performer. Elliott has done really well for himself, better than I would have ever expected. I really cannot stand Jason Mraz, I like the sound of Kris's voice better. I think he's the only one who could give Adam a run for his money for the title, but I think in that scenario finishing as the runner up would be better for him.

I'm Yours was a massive hit, but before that, his sophomore album flopped, and his only real hit was The Remedy off his debut album I disagree seaguy, Jason's voice is much better; richer, fuller, and smoother.
