What has Scott been saying?

He mentioned in one of the interviews how the judges (read: Kara, Paula) wanted him to perform without the piano only to backtrack when he did that. He pretty
much insinuated that he didn't care about the show by saying that he "now" knew what the show was about and how sometimes the judges said what
they did because it's all a TV show.

Anoop wasn't one of my top three but I like him and think he has a good voice. Too bad the judges criticized him more than some others who really deserved
it. He was my F4 pick.
I agree that he's a class act. Bye Anoop, I'll miss you. <3 |

Miss Alley Shack wrote:Thanks. Scott was a pretty smart guy. I'm glad he called them out. Anoop also seems smart, and after the shit they put him through this season he has no reason not to do the same. |

James, I'd say this season is actually the season to watch when it comes to the contestants calling the judges on
their shit on or off the show. Michael, Megan, and Scott pretty much flipped the judges on and off the show and I'm hoping Lil and Anoop will add fuel to
the fire, lol. The ladies of S7 complaining about the fantards crushing on the two Davids, Jason, and Michael is nothing compared to what we have seen this
season.

It's not Matt's fault...it's the judges/producers. You can't blame Matt for being saved.
That said Gokey still sucks. |

On the bright side, we have some talk show appearances to look forward to. But he's gonna have to split all his press with Lil, right? Ugh.
I will not stop posting Anoop pics in this thread though!! See you at the finale Anoop! <3 |

I wanted to like him more than I did. He has a smooth voice and is nice enough, but he had that "smarter than you attitude", and he likely is;
however he projected a kind of egotism that was probably a little off-putting to most people. In a contest where personality apparently counts as much as
talent, it likely cost him votes. I don't think he was the next American Idol, but I wish he could have gone a round or two more. I'm sure he'll
make a brilliant "whatever" a folklore major ends up doing. Good Luck!

Survivor2004Freak wrote: All Anoop's studio recordings have been fantastic. He has a beautiful voice that records like a dream. I'm so depressed that I was robbed of some more of Anoop's songs to add to my little AI-Anoop File on my i Pod. I hate it that every season, the judges pick their faves to pimp, whether deserving or not (this season the worst of undeserving faves), and then they spend the rest of the time trying to sabotage seriously talented contestants like Anoop in order to protect their faves. Anoop took a beating almost every week and they loved to mess with him and send the little submininal messages to the audience about his looks & performances. He was a dead man walking all season and I am trying to look at the bright side and see how amazing it is that he made it this far despite the efforts to take him out. I hope some intelligent music execs realize what a gem Anoop is and that he gets a record deal. Without the AI judges trying to knock him down, Anoop can let his personality shine and do his thing and he will be a success and show people he has charisma ("IT") and the ability to be a great performer, as well as an amazing singer. Well, on a positive note, I will now have 2 free hours every Tuesday night as I won't be voting for anyone anymore on this show. (Adam is great, but he doesn't need my votes and he certainly doesn't need AI anymore. He's noticed and I don't know what kind of a record he would make, but he's guaranteed a deal. A final 2 of Adam's super OTT showmanship contrasted with Anoop's pure and subdued singing would have been amazing.) |

Cheer up. Twenty years from now, Anoop will be a multi-millionaire who made a killing at Silicon Valley and Danny Gokey will be washing his car.

Kudos to James for being able to refrain from blaming Matt. I missed the comment from the jduges about his eyebrows. When was that? I didn't get to tsee
the first half of the show b/c my kid had to see the same Spongebob episode for the 147th time.
Good luck Anoop. I hope you take Porkchop's advice and follow your dreams. Then stick it to the man like Jennifer Hudson did. |
