Been voting for the past hour and I've gotten busy signals up until about 15 minutes ago. This is the first week I've gotten busy's for him after the first two minutes. Hope that's a good sign. Here are all the other people on Idol who were never in the bottom 3 during the finals, going into top 5 week. I am not counting Clay's Wildcard status or Jordin's being in the bottom 3 on semis week 2: Season 1: Tamyra, Kelly Season 2: Clay, Reuben Season 3: NONE Season 4: Carrie Season 5: Taylor Season 6: Melinda, Jordin Season 7: Archie, Cookie Season 8: Kris, Danny, Adam So Idol has NEVER had 3 people who were always safe this late before! Anyway, of 10 contestants who were previously in this position, 6 won, 2 came in second, and only Melinda and Tamyra didn't make it to the finale. Of course, this year at least one of the three CAN'T make the finale, so the history is a bit deceptive.
