That wasn't just a one episode cameo? I've been so confused why I've seen Elisha Cuthbert on magazine covers lately, since she has no relevance to the world anymore. Now I get it. Yeah, the single clip of her in the promos caught my eye -- have we seen sexy blonde whore lawyer before? Elisha's on Letterman tonight, so something's going on. Whether it's 24 or a new film, I dunno. Regardless, it's always fun to see her in a cocktail dress.

I'd love to know if anyone stayed awake for 24 hours watching a season from start to finish. And wrote about it. I watched the first 2 seasons like this, practically back to back. I couldn't watch any entire season in one 24 marathon. First, the episodes aren't exactly an hour, so that helps with the time. However, no matter how shitty, slow or farfetched parts of the seasons were they all became intense. The marathon would be interrupted somewhere between 4 to 6 episodes, just to get some decompression only to resume for the next 4 to 6 episodes. I still burnt out after season 2. I read some season recaps but haven't been able to go back and fill in the seasons 3 through last season. Reading some of the comments on assorted boards, I don't know if I want to go back and see all the seasons. It's one thing to read a recap about a crappy season, it's another thing to watch it unfold...and I really can't stand Kim. I didn't like her in season 1 and it was torture to watch her greater role in season 2. I am not happy to see her back in this late season. sigh No, I have to go back and see some old seasons if for nothing else to catch up on the Tony backstory. I'm glad he's not dead even if he is a badass. This season the only problem I had was watching the Moss character. The actor played a thoroughly irresponsible, amoral hedonist on Dirt. I couldn't get that characterization out of my head everytime Moss came onscreen.

Nobody was more surprised about Teri Bauers death than Leslie Hope. Im just saying. The worse thing for a character on this show is for them to become more popular than Jack. Kiefer doesnt take too kindly to that.

I'll check here to see what happens to the characters from time to time, but it has gotten bad, to the point of offensive. Why is Garofaloalofalo on this show? She has no visible acting talent, and is in person a mean, nasty individual. Her acting non-chops are such that every time I see her I don't think "FBI Analyst" but "shrill deranged harpy." Not good for the old suspension of disbelief. I don't mind the politics of performers be they on the left or right - I"m more of a "shut up and sing" person. Well, she can't shut up and she can't act. Killing several FBI agents, aided by Tony. This is simply not good. A feeble story line, with no tension in any episode. Lousy new characters. No Chloe. Good characters dying. That being said, I hope Jack doesn't die. Maybe he'll be paralyzed, and solve crimes from a wheelchair. Maybe (this might be true) his daughter does agree to the "dangerous" treatment and Jack is cured - but she dies. Damn, I'm just trying to care. \ ETA: Okay, Renee. I'll check in next season.

Just the fact that they showed her in the taxi several times BEGS for a classic 24 unmarked black van ambush in the middle of the night. I really don't see how else she will be kept from leaving other than by use of force.

Then to wrap up his day Hodges smuggles WMD into the country, puts them on illegal missles, and threatens to blow up 3 american cities. And after catching this guy, they transport him to the FBI with ONE freaking truck and TWO lousy soldiers? Who are stupid enough to PULL OVER when Hodges has a "heart attack"? What if Hodges were just faking it to get them to stop long enough for a rescue attempt? If it wasn't for Agent Femjack there wouldn't be a single reason to watch this show anymore. It's become a parody of itself.

Posts: 773 (04/21/09 12:39 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Tony's actions throughout this day don't make a lot of sense either and the fact that Jack figured out he was lying in less than an hour after the death of Moss seemed unbelievable (all bullets were accounted for ). It's hard to believe he would have no problem letting 24 FBI agents get blown up inside a building just so he could get the Syntox gas (wrong on purpose) smuggled out from the compound. I think the writers ran out of ideas on how to end this season just like they did with the last one. The attack on the White House was ridiculous. What happened to the First Husband was laughable. The gassing and removal of fingerprints from Jonas's lawyer to be used by the imposter so she could be give him the red pill (which doesn't completely work!!!) was cartoonish. I liked the episode where Tony was double crossed and he and the FBI were trapped inside Starkwood by their private army but since then 24 has gone downhill fast.

At least there's been one consistent big bad behind the mayhem; it's just that the writers keep peeling back layers getting closer to them. The seasons I disliked had them changing bad guys at hours 8 and 16. I loved the blonde whore lawyer, and was disappointed to see her ditch the wig.
