NBC is getting rid of 5 hours per week of regular programming to give America's least funny comedian his own nightly 10-11pm show. Space is very limited
and Chuck may not have the ratings to make the cut.

It's 50/50 at this point whether the show comes back.
Kings, Life, and Kath & Kim are pretty much done, so maybe that works in Chuck's favor. NBC isn't going to cancel everything. Maybe. |

Chuck is different from all the other shows. It's original and funny.
How it's not one of the most popular shows just baffles me. |

In Chuck's favor - NBC doesn't have a lot of hit shows that get big ratings, but the demographic rating (18 - 49 yr olds) is better for the show.
Chuck just needs a network exec to champion the cause. The show is just so underrated, stuck on the same night as Heroes is doing it no favors either. And don't forget that with E.R. done, that's one free hour Jay gets. Knight Rider and Kings make 2 more. |

That was a great episode!
Sarah looked amazing in that blue dress and it was all so happy. Almost made me tear. I'm scared for Chuck... Me thinks it's days are numbered. |

They may also follow in Fox's footsteps and put things on different schedules instead of having reruns. So while Heroes is on hiatus they could have Chuck
on instead of playing reruns of Heroes.

curses foiled again!! Is it wrong for me to want them to do it before the show gets canned? NBC has fucked over a lot of my shows in the past and with the
chance of even more this season (Life, Medium, Chuck, did I say LIFE?).
30 Rock & The Office can't carry the whole fucking network. |

Forget the blue dress, did you miss the opening scene with Sara wearing just her panties and a t shirt?
I'm amazed that Chuck's head didn't explode. |

uhm... yea.. that was a hot scene! What person comes to bed in their panties with someone they know wants them and doesn't expect to get down to business?
As soon as I seen her (and the look on Chuck's face) I just knew it was about to be some lovin goin on at the Stardust (or whatever the name is) motel.

Such a great episode. That scene towards the end where Casey has Chuck over his shoulder and Dad and Sarah are following...so much win. Except I knew Chevy
Chase wasn't dead.
Morgan and Anna! Love. ::sniff:: Dad and Ellie! ::sniff:: Can't wait for the finale. |

I'll be very disappointed if this show is cancelled. What else does NBC have? Leno?

They certainly aren't chary of putting Yvonne in panties and lingerie and so forth. Reason number 1,568 why I love this show.
Agreeance that it felt like a finale. I guess next week is all about setting up season 3 -- which I guess will be getting the intersect v.2 into Chuck's head. And I read somewhere that they're affirmatively not tying things up. I loved the reveal to Awesome. Big Mike as the Godfather was fun, too. |

Honestly, the last 6 or so episodes have been extremley enjoyable for me, with last night being no exception. Actually the more I think about it, last night
may be up there with the season finale of Psych as one of my favorite episodes of television this entire season.
Chuck is at its core just fun, but fun that clearly gives a damn about the story they are telling. For whatever reason, I have a good feeling about Season 3, which of course equals cancellation, but for right now I am just REALLY looking forward to next week. I have been teased with this "huge twist" for about a month and a half now and really just want to know what Schwartz has up his sleeve. |

It really did seem like they were just tying everything up for a series finale next week, but Josh Schwartz said that if next weeks episode IS the series
finale, theres going to be a hell of a lot of people disappointed. I would hate it if this is the end for Chuck. I have to stop actually liking shows, they
just get cancelled on me anyway.

Can't hurt...
Will $5 footlongs and Twitter be the salvation of Chuck?Posted on 22 April 2009 by Robert Seidman
Can a Twitter campaign and pointing people to buy a sub at Subway on Monday save Chuck? Chuck executive producer and co-creator Josh Schwartz hopes so. From the LA Times Show Tracker:

Buy a sandwitch to save Chuck?
Have Casey take off his shirt. That'll be more effective. I know a lot of male viewers like seeing the blonde Aussie girl in skimpy clothes and the 'forced' chemistry or love thing between her and Chuck. But at the same time, I sometimes wonder if that turns off 'some' female viewers. Men like nerds/geeks ending up with hot chicks but women don't, right? |

Female here. Love the show. I think the chemistry between Chuck and Sarah is great and the pairing is fun,
Seemed very much like a finale to me too. Makes me worried for the show. I was surprised to see "Scenes from next week." Worried anywhere they go from here will just screw up what they have today. I probably shouldn't worry - this show always goes in interesting places. The way the had the previous gf go wasn't expected but strangely satisfying. All the BuyMore stuff is over the top for me now - it's gone too far. I skip over much of it. It such a completely different stroyline now - it doens't matter if I watch or not. Not too thrilled with the casting of Chuck's father. Not sure why - I like the actor - but I guess I'm just sick of him. Also didn't like Chevy Chase as the bad guy - he's just hamming it up in front of the camera - and not doing a very funny job of it. Love Casey. Love that Awesome tried to take him out with Ronald Reagan. Awsome's reaction was Awsome. (Does Awsome not know that everyone's nickname for him is Awsome?) I love that the writers just determindly make Awsome Awsome - they don't waiver. He's never anything but Awsome. Very cool. |
