I don't necessarily mind anyone singing I Will Survive as long as it isn't Lil or Gokey. It is overplayed but I like it.

Lil - Best of My Love -she would have to FINALLY bring it.
Adam - Fantasy EW&Fire Adam - I Feel Love - Donna Summer Of course, Adam would change them up but they would be AWESOME. Both songs give him room for his high screechies. Some of my favorites from that era... I Love Music (OJays) - not sure who could sing this one. Heaven Must be Missing an Angel (Tavares) - I guess Danny would be an obvious one for this song but I don't think I would like his version. |

�^ Well, depends on how broad the "Disco" theme is. Disco is more defined as a period from the mid-late 70s. That song is 80s (as is
"It's Raining Men"), so depends if they want to include it as part of disco. It's a great song!

to the "Queen of Disco" but she was such a talented singer and I think criminally underappreciated. I did love though when last time she was on,
I'm pretty sure there was a thread dedicated to her fucked up wig.

Apparently this week's theme was not supposed to be disco but the chosen mentor backed out so it was a last minute replacement. In the past the replacement
has been songs from the year you're born but they already did that. Why couldn't they just have a Simon-picks-the-song week? Anyway, this means no
mentor this week I think.

disco arrived or were young'uns. But for those of us old enough to remember disco when it was "the rage," remember that "Disco s*cks".
It was the era of shiny polyester and disco balls. I'm not saying that I'm not unfamiliar with the genre but I'd not cop to it. Oh wait . . . Ah

I happened to catch AI Extra or whatever it's called...the one with Ace as the host...last night. What scared me is that all the contestents were on and
Gokey said he and Adam were really excited about disco night. Adam, I understand and look forward to. Gokey was getting that whole
fatty-scrunchface-I'm-gonna-get-down-and-dance look on his mug and that scared me. That scared me a lot.
