The only way to "prove" the judges are wrong would be if Danny kept getting pimped nonstop, won, and then put out a shit CD that didn't even go
gold. However, having Matt be the lowest votegetter next week and being voted off for a THIRD time (counting semis group 2) would be a nice little bit of
revenge for putting in the whole fuck-the-voters save idea in the first place. It would work best if he gives a sucky performance, the judges blather on about
his "comeback" anyway, and then he came in last.

There's a video posted in Adam's love thread (where Simon says Adam and Lil may be the only ones not to struggle with disco week). But, at the
beginning, he talks about the save. He basically said the girls wanted to save Matt and he figured if they didn't use it this week, Anoop would've
gone home and he didn't want to save Anoop next week. So, yeah, he was basically saying it was their last chance. I don't think you can say they
weren't obligated to use it. Technically, that is true, but they're not going to introduce the save and not use it the first season it could.
Sriously, though, no one has been eliminated after giving an amazing performance (or even that good), which is what you would hope the save would be used for.

Well if I can't have Matt go next week, the next best option would be Danny and Lil to go. The third best option would be Adam and Danny eliminated, just
to totally mess up this season. I think that would be the end of American Idol and saving Matt would be seen as its Jump the Shark moment.

It's a double boot this week and if Matt isn't one of the two that goes (and even if he is) there are going to be some seriously bitter AI fans out there. If the judges so much as say they did the wrong thing by using the save that is only going to be multiplied by 1000. They put themselves and Matt is a strange position. Should be interesting to see how it works out. |

It's never going to happen but I can at least hold onto the hope that Shrill will finally be sent packing. Aside from that we can only hope Danny will fall ill because of his gluttonous eating and have to withdraw from the competition. Matt <3 |
