Posts: 2207 (04/13/09 8:02 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I just feel that it has been so freaking watered down such that there is practically no drama or difficulty in the teams performing and completing them. Wasn't there a time where tasks actually STRESSED teams out and caused hilarious, if not annoying-cum-entertaining meltdowns? Where the hell is all of that now? Cake-throwing with the probability of finding the correct filling in like 5-6 throws?! Fixing a freaking propeller that Margie freaking completed in like 1 minute? Filling barrels of water? Segways where no one even fell down or had trouble completing? Gymnastic Roadblock where no one really had so much difficulty that they really looked like they suffered? Bobsled roller coaster?! Driving snowplows in such an easy course that no one had to redo? (compare this to the London Bus Roadblock in TAR7) Taking photos with freaking zoo animals?! What the hell happened to "If YOU DON'T MOVE, I'M GONNA CUT YOU UP AND EAT YOU", "BABBYY THERE'S NOO MORE MILLLK", "MY OX IS BROKEN!", "I'M PACKING IT!"...etc And I thought last season was bad... But at least they had tasks like the Holi festival to redeem the season. So far, in terms of tasks and entertainment derived from the tasks... this season has been an epic fail. Last season's tasks were pretty good (collectively better than TAR7-11 and arguably better than TAR12, since most of their good moments just came from the awesomeness of the cast) - they were at least challenging enough for Dandrew to enjoyably fuck up most of them (even they physically couldn't fail 90% of these) They are just alternating "lol gross/silly" tasks alternated with "carry this heavy thing" tasks, like TAR4. Watching people covered with cake and singing karaoke may give a cheap laugh at first but its more suited to a kid's birthday party than a race around the world. But to be repetitive in my bitching, the fact they never have to drive themselves or make their own way means they have plenty of time to rest inside taxis in between all the tasks to rest up. With the exception of stubborn animals, all the freakouts can only happen when the teams are suitably frazzled -and they aren't going to get tired travelling such a short distance with no effort on their part. Next leg might finally be where the Killer Fatigue hits and things get interesting.

Agree ADC , and there's a speculation of U-turn So far, tasks difficulty: Leg 1 - Hard (Cheese Task) Leg 2 - Medium (Running down the mountain) Leg 3 - Medium (Gypsy Moves) Leg 4 - Medium (Constuct Detour) Leg 5 - Hard (Russian Bride) Leg 6 - Medium (Mark and Michael's Detour) Leg 7 - Very Hard (2 Miles Detour) Leg 8 - Very Easy (Karaoke , Lol!)

But I must say that we shouldn't judge tasks as whether it is hard or what, There's something cultural actually in this leg aired. The tasks seemed easy, but with no sleep, proper dining, proper hygiene and stress because the race gets to its Final 5, It doesn't seem to be that easy for the group. If I were there,. I expected to see them actually struggle with the roadblock once I saw it.

Tested the teams Leg 5 - Stripping down :) Leg 6 - India Leg was festive Leg 2 - So good. Leg 7 - It's OK Leg 3 - Fake Route Markers DEPRECIATION Leg 8 - LOL

The wood stacking one was probably the harder detour that leg and it took forever.
