They won't omit immunity challenge. First of all, it would throw the whole balance they created because each challenge were tested and lighted a few days before the shooting date. Second of all, each immunity only last per one episode a.k.a 3 days cycle, whether it's used or not. In other words, they had the last IC for nothing.

It's too much of a co-incidence that the Headbands match the puzzle tables in the Spider challenge. Two teams of four with one person already eliminated. One runs through the challenge and the other (of two) does the puzzle. The running/tumbling person retrieves the puzzle pieces. The second one solves it. Sounds like JT could win this... They could use that spider for MANY legs(pun intended) of a challenge. The two who win could either BOTH win immunity or compete against each other somehow for something. Wasn't there a multi-tier elimination type challenge for an IC in Thailand? Somebody was immediately eliminated. Then there were teams who competed and then just two people competing against each other? Brian won this I think. And took Clay on an elephant ride...Or am I totally mixing several Thailand challenges up? Probably....

JT's got green on his head in the spider promo, and they wouldn't NEED green if they're split into 3 groups of 3 (and we've got closeups of red, black and white for this ep). This coupled with Taj's headband in the spider challenge promo being black leads me to think they are separate challenges. It's not like they can only use headbands for one challenge and never again.

I have no freaking idea why so many people are abandonning all common sense just because they want the spider challenge to be this week so freaking badly. If the spider challenge was this week, we would have seen at least one shot of it in the preview last week. Odds are, as has been said already in this thread, it's a Q and A of some sort, since those tend to be the "boring" ones that don't get any promo clips.
