The scenario I was picturing has 1 person being picked immediately to go to exile or to just not participate in the challenge (like Corrine during Gabon's final 7 reward challenge). The remaining 8 then split into teams of 2, run the challenge, and the winning duo picks 1 more person to accompany them on reward. I just thought it might be a possibility because of the presence of the bandannas, the fact that the pictures we have of Taj, Tyson, Erinn & Brendan's bandannas match the colors of the 4 puzzle stations in the spider aerial shot (below), and the fact that we so far have absolutely zero footage of the challenge itself this week.

JJJ, that is a great point and what I am now thinking. They could have a challenge like they did in the Australian Outback F8 (the one where Colby and Jerri won a trip to the Great Barrier Reef) with four teams of two. Except in this case there are 9 people. They randomly draw for teams and one person is exiled immediately. After one of the teams of two wins, they get to pick another person to go along with them. That is what makes the most sense at this point. Also, the blue paint on JT's shirt in the picture with the spider challenge could be from the paint that they get when they made the merged tribe flag.

ETA 1: Is that Debbie's black bandana around her arm? Debbie = black team?



ETA 2: Each team has one man and one woman? Taj & Tyson (red), Brendan and Debbie (black), Erinn & ? (white) & JT & Sierra (green)? This would mean that a man is exiled and it would have to be Coach or Stephen.



ETA 3: Sorry, another idea came to mind. Maybe the one person that sits out of the challenge (in a twist) gets to go along with the pair that wins the reward?

ETA 4: If we know that they changed Taj's buff color from green to red, the red buff that she "has" in the picture would blend right in with the red bandana that she is wearing in this upcoming challenge. It is possible, like others have said for them to have changed both the green buff to red and the red bandana to black to cause confusion. The picture of Probst that is in the preview with Taj could still be from a future auction/family reward and was just thrown into the preview to make it sound like something Probst would be saying during this challenge.
