She got her scene with Abby and she now knows that Henry has the HII. 3. She was not INV like Beth and Mrs. Wellington. 4. She is no longer the #1 target of Mr Wellington & Hunter. 5. She has reached the island and will now slide to the end while the testosterone battles take place. 6. She was not part of the scheming and backstabbing of the Visible Four and it didn't matter who she likes better (Trish or Abby), she not objecting to the marriage. Posts: 10279 (04/09/09 10:12 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Swim, lick my twat If Uncle Marty were the winner I would expect the following in this merge ep: A confessional about the merge and how he's been saved from his constant outsider status and also for him to still be alive A confessional about Ben's evacuation as he was the ONLY ally he has (could happen next week I suppose, but would've made sense here) and also for him to still be alive A confessional about being approached by Shea and Henry to vote off Nikki, and how he feels about that (also, showing Uncle Marty being approached prob would've been good) and also for him to still be alive A confessional or comment about his future in the game "Now I have a chance to play/win!" or something along those lines and also for him to still be alive I would love nothing more than an Marty win but his edit sucked tonight. Not as bad as Booth, but one of the worst for sure. Even Hunter seemed more relevant and powerful. I DID think it was noteworthy and interesting that a) they showed that Madison would include Uncle Marty in the vote and b) they showed that Marty WOULD NOT be allowed in the alliance still. Because both of those things could easily have been omitted in light of the non-issue it turned out to be. and also for him to still be alive

I believe that Uncle Marty did have a scene about his status, during the scene he was fucking murdered, DUMBASS! 2. There was no time nor need for a confessional about Ben dying. He's not at the wedding, so the relationship with Ben was not important. The only important thing is Marty knowing about the deal Hunter/Mr Wellington has. Madison's visit was right at the end of the episode and the immediate concern was the thoughts of the schemers about their plans being foiled for now. 3. If Marty had blindsided Nikki, then Marty's thoughts should be shown if he's the winner. But they didn't go to Mr. Wellington. 4. Hunter was more relevant and powerful ? He was Mr. Wellington's sidekick. 5. UKKUNT, please STFU.

By no means is a 'great' show, but it's entertaining, so I'm gonna watch it fo sho. - Chloe - her overbite, fucked up mouth kinda bugs, but KICKASS body with great abs. They show her scantily clad until she gets whacked - The Father - the guy from 24. Funny how Uncle Marty said somethign about 'old man' - so that guy - a good looking guy in great shape in his mid 40's is an 'old man' - Abby - wow, great body. Who knew. But yes, hopefully they don't play the 'obvious' angle with her as the multiple personality girl who's all fucked up from the goings on. - The Tree - come on, they didnt chop it down? - The acting - horrible - The bride - a little hottie. - The groom - skinny and weird looking. The bride is way too hot for the groom. - The sister - Laura Flynn Boyle called, she wants her image back. Although something weird there - weird husband/wife dynamic. - The British Dude - I thought he looked like a lesbian. Very bizarre Ellen looking character. - Madison - ok, the creepy 9 year old white girl. I guarantee you we'll see her in a white billowy dress with wet hair hanging over her face. - Uncle Marty - good on the writers. I don't think any of us saw that coming. Yes, it was VERY cheesy and horribly acting, but it was very entertaining. I'll definitely keep watching to see where it goes.

He showed brief physcopathic tendencies with Chloe. Also, other then Chloe who I highly doubt is the killer, he was the only one to be shown near the bridge. There was also a much more subtle hint earlier in the episodes. When Chloe is looking at the model ship, he says he has a thing with boats. I really doubt its him because the writers will probably go with an obvious killer, but you never know. And J.D. is the obvious red herring who all the characters will blame.

So you can imagine my surprise... Harper's Island is essentially a long drawn-out "slasher film" for people in their sixties. I guess CBS was the appropriate venue. The lighting and cinematography is pure Hallmark channel. Appropriate for a slasher show? I think not. And the dialogue and acting is pure soap. In fact, worse than soap. The cheesey 'deaths' are poorly handled and antiseptic. Nick Jr. had scarier shows than this. More graphic too. As for all the characters and plot, if I was as schizophrenic as this first episode, Harper's Island would have been a lot more coherent. Just too many people doing god-knows-what, and who frankly cares? The show should have started with far less characters or at least a more focused storyline. I guess this show will get there eventually, but, still, I don't want to watch this clusterfuck for the next five weeks while the characters are still at an unmanageable number. Maybe I'll watch the JR episodes from Dallas over and over again. Same dif.

This show is entertaining, but the acting is atrocious.
