I thought her performance was the best of the night. Even better than Adam's. She's gaining momentum it seems, I'm happy to see that. Considering I
didn't get to see a lot from her in the Hollywood episode, I wasn't too impressed but she's really shown her range and I do see a lot of
personality. If the damn stylists (is Scott picking out her clothes? wtf) don't decorate her so damn much with frills and leather and hideous skirts and
stupid hair because that's taking all the attention away from herself and her talent.

Ditto to the last several posters. I got goosebumps listening to her last night. There was a tenderness that I hadn't really heard before. The tone of her
voice is quite remarkable, very moving.

She is one of the most overrated contestants ever and definitely this season. Some people forget that her voice cracked at the end of the song last night.
But again, she is lucky that the better girls weren't picked because she would be long gone by now. Any other season she'd be gone Top 12 night.
Besides that, she is boring and has no personality to speak of although she tries to pretend like she is interesting but she falls flat. Her singing is pretty
average at best but some overrate her because there are only 2 girls left.

I think Allison will be the "dark horse" and win. She keeps getting better and better and her performance last night was fantastic. I think Danny
and Adam better watch out, because Allison is starting to make people sit up and notice her.

In any other season I'd say its possible, but Adam's so far ahead of everyone else in terms of popularity I can't see anyone overtaking him.

The only way I see Allison winning is if Adam goes out like Daughtry at maybe Top 4, Top 3 and they sign him anyway. Then they could have both, and it's
probably better if Adam doesn't win.

They AI winner's deals aren't too bad as long as they like you. ie if you're not Taylor.
It also depends what label they sign you too. They've got a bunch of different labels and certain ones are better than others. They let Cook write or co-write most of the songs on his album, and they'd probably allow Adam the same courtesy. Also they obviously realize Allison is more of a rock style chick the way Carrie was Country. I doubt they'd force pop crap upon her, it wouldn't suit her. If she won and got signed to a suitable label she could be in a great position. |
