Well, we could do that or we could spend the next 2 days 23 hours and 43 minutes in every more fanciful speculation....

There have been far worse conditions on the jury like Paschal or Bruce.Remind me what happened to these two? |

I think the DragonSlayer and "cutting off the head of the dragon" means Coach is after Brendan. A dragon is what? A powerful creature. Coach has
already lamented Brendan's position come merge with the relationships he's made with the other tribe. Coach won't go after his #2 Tyson, nor does
he consider any of the women powerful. No one on Jalapao can be considered powerful because they're outnumbered. That leaves Brendan.

Bruce had a bowel obstruction. I'm not sure what happened to Paschal, but as I recall he was taken for treatment after he was booted and missed the next
TC.
Jeff clearly watches as the medic evaluates Joe at the IC, same light blue shirt and Joe is on a bench. If Joe and Erinn are Exiled as some speculate, he shouldn't appear at camp until after IC. He is shown in camp in the last two seconds of the ep preview.

I don't think anyone gets exiled this episode, isn't merge usually an exile-free occasion? I think the "exiled pair" clue just refers to Joe
and Erinn being an exiled pair previously.
I'd think the Immunity winner would get to keep it for the next Tribal Council where two necklaces are in play. They haven't done that before, have they? And when were there two II's in PI? Or were you just referring to the whole Burton thing, when he was immune but won immunity and gave it to Burton? I haven't watched that season in ages so I don't remember a bunch of stuff about it. |

Janu left at TC, the IN was up for grabs the next week. I very much doubt the IC winner will have it thru the ep 8 TC.

IF two people are randomly sent to exile at the merge feast (Day 19) and per the usual pattern do not return until the IC (Day 21), then those
two would not be seen in morning camp shots.
IMO these two look like 'morning shots' Joe, Stephen, Erinn and Tyson with his buff still covering his head 'sleeping style'

The promo tells us people are Exiled. We don't know who if Ben is not seen in camp he might be one excellent candidate. Coach would find out about the
Hidden Immunity Idol at Exile and that might cause him to hatch his brilliant plan.
Or here as far as we can see. The usual morning gathering spot is the fire pit, not the hut.

An exiled pair makes a shocking discoveryI'm of the mindset as of now with those who think this is just a weirdly stated blurb referring to two people had been exiled together. Since this is about a "shocking discovery" and we have yet to see what happened with Erinn regarding her looking for Timber's HII, I would agree that this is Joe and Erinn sneaking off to the tree mail and and finding out something is missing under native mail's skirt which can/will lead to a boatload of stuff (figuring out if Bren or Sierra have it, Joe revealing or not revealing he has the idol with the whole "fake" situation left to dangle, etc.) |

It wouldn't surprise me if Coach is exiled. You would think that the other contestants would prefer that he is away from camp as much as possible until he
is voted out. It will be interesting to see how the remaining Jalapao tribe members (especially Taj) deal with Coach. If anyone is exiled, aside from Coach,
the only other contestant that doesn't appear in any of the scenes at camp is Sierra. I'm sure that she would be overjoyed to be exiled with Coach
(not)!

I can see the top of Sierra's head in the shot of JT standing and scratching. She is at the bottom left.
You cab see the top of her head and the hairstyle. |

The 'Brilliant One' is not seen in any of the above, but he could be off doing his yoga thing by the river. actually, if you look above Tyson's head through the branches, you can see Coach returning to the campsite.

It will be interesting to see how the remaining Jalapao tribe members (especially Taj) deal with Coach. It probably won't happen, but that does sound like a good plan. He's the perfect goat, so you don't even care if he finds an immunity idol. Just keep him as far away from the likeable people as possible until then. lol Ben + Taj |

A little unrelated, but ever since FvF, I think the producers have wanted fake idols to come into circulation more... I'm pretty sure there was something
similar to the HII (the real one..) hanging off of the immunity necklace, and then the necklace in Gabon was full of them, and even this season, the
centerpiece of the individual immunity necklace is the same charm as the HII that Brendan and Taj have:

The thought of someone trying to sneakily t.ear apart the IN to make a FII makes me chuckle. And I can't wait for Taj to have a confessional about Coach.

You can take almost every word that Probst(and Coach, the only other person, who speaks substantively here) and FLIP IT. And the opposite is what is true...
The JollyPows are supposed to be miserable and down in numbers, yet Stephen and JT are seen positively BEAMING! BEAMING! Roach says he's in control and running the game to the end and of course, he's absolutely not. GAWD! Is the Brilliant One(I almost typed "the Brillo One", which is more like it) not the WORST villain ever!!! You just HATE him.... And the camera is on Joe when he's talking about winning them over and so what if he wins Joe over? Joe is going, going, gone...but evidently NOT til the end of this episode... Jeff says "It's big" and this may be the most boring episode EVAH in that we know Joe is going, so no, it isn't "big". It's the opposite of BIG. It's maybe the only episode of the season that you could skip and not miss anything and just read the PBP... Jeff we see through your lies...Especially when you telegraph them with opposite images of what's being said. And the CTA isn't mentioned. But the members of it are shown. Taj muching happily next to Sierra at table. HII-larious! |
