True.. Victoria/Brad are normal people, which is why I liked their team so much.
I don't mind if Elimination Station does a little bit of the youngins vs the hicks, but it would be nice if they could show us other stuff as well.. like more on the little trips they get to do in Thailand. Wait a minute... Mike/Mel were eliminated in Thailand, and Elimination Station is in Thailand.. then why the heck did they show their plane landing? Oh silly editors. I guess we can assume that Mike/Mel will be the last team to check into Elimination Station? I'm guessing the next two boots will be decoys. |

Here Luke is the player who's pulling a bunch of shady tricks (which are being whitewashed for the "sooo cuuuuute" edit) and his Mom is just filler who would never made it through the first round of auditions without her offspring. |

Christie/Jodi were just as "normal" as Margie but not as freakishly dull. She actively avoids getting involved in the game, making her most deliberately the pointless contestant ever. |

Uchenna/Joyce? They pulled out the marital troubles and moralizing bullshit in TAR7 and TARAS.The second time round they weren't cast because of the baby story, it was because: "TAR7 was soooooo epic, let's bring Romber's ARCH-RIVALS!! (even though they did jackshit except a Fast Forward that someone was eventually going to do, and were all too happy to work with Romber for half the race)". And I don't think they ever mentioned the WorldCom/Enron hook on the show, but nothing can make me want to rewatch the post-Brian/Greg episodes of that season ever again. |

Yeah, the last episode was boring. I wish they would show us more than just Steve/Linda and Preston/Jennifer.
Also, about Luke, I really wish the editors showed more sides to him, since it's so much harder to like their team when you know how forced their edit is. Some of the shady things I've heard him do sound really funny (like saying the gorilla in Tailand was signing something to Mike). I wished they showed more of that. Don't they realize it's okay if disabled people have character flaws? |

i know, cole. what i meant was: i think what lawnmunchkin said about the elim station videos is also valid for the way the actual show was edited. - Don't they realize it's okay if disabled people have character flaws? tim, maybe they think middle america is not ready for sinister deaf kids? because apparently all handicapped people are nice & cuddly, to make up for the unfair card they were dealt with in life. just like all fat people are sweet like rosie & roseanne. |

Because the tasks have made sooo much difference this season  There has been a single elimination based on a team failing a task. But
Luke is pointless from the POV of actually competing since Margie is doing all that; Margie is useless in terms of the TV/drama angle since she lets Luke do
all the "strategy", which gets cut out because they don't want Luke to come across as anything except a simplistic puppy.
