Either Bebe or Nina could have won. Most dubious elimination of the season was Jade over Rebecca, but I thought those two would be the next to go, regardless of the order.

I LOVE Nina, I wish she had won. Bebe is very graceful and will be a good spokeswoman, but Nina is the best overall queen I think. She's so creative,
personality-wise and costuming-wise. I just love to watch her.

Yeah, Shannel IS a star and didn't Ru Paul say that's why they wanted her to be on the show?
I guess they put Shannel, an already established and kinda famous 'star' on the show to make it seem more legit or whatever, but of course, they had no intention of choosing her to be the winner and that's why they were harsh on her. I mean, a 'star' winning? What's the point of having this show? Anyway, one thing I learned watching the reunion is that all these contestants seem a lot more 'vulnerable' or sensitive or..... I don't know, insecure, maybe? They seem soooo fierce and confident in drag and sometimes act like nothing can hurt them that I guess I actually bought that. But now I know better. It's just an act and these people are like, like... everybody else. I've learned so much from the show! LOL |

This thread caught my attention a week or two ago, and I've been watching the show online since. I've gotten through to the F4. I'm going to wait
until I'm all caught up to read the thread because I don't want to be spoiled, but I wanted to go ahead and throw out my comments about what I've
seen so far:
Love Bebe! I was so worried she was going to go at F5. I'm rooting for her to win, but I don't think she will  (I think it'll be Nina -
that's what I've thought most of the series and I'm sticking with it)
That Shanell is annoying, but her juggling while walking the runway was awesome. I can't wait til she's eliminated though - my guess is she'll be the F2 loser (if they go all the way to F2). Please don't let her win. When Akishia was interviewing Tori and Dean and didn't get up to greet them and stuck her butt in Tori's face I was cracking up. Rebecca is the prettiest and most natural looking of the girls, but I don't like her. I think she'll be the next to go, and she's the only one of the F4 that I'm positive will not win. Ongina talking about having HIV had me tearing up! That was sad. Rupaul's melodramatic lines on other shows wouldn't work well, but on this one they're perfect. "Chante......away!" |

I do wish they'd occasionally clarify the difference between drag, cross-dressing, and being a trannie -- my straight brother was watching this with me and
I had to explain sooooo many things. Sigh. Drag is an amazing thing, when done right -- performance as old as any culture in history. I prefer more theater
than simply "looking like a girl." And I agree -- I can't believe no one thought of doing this some time ago -- if you've been to a gay bar,
all you have to do is put two queens together and step back for instant drama.

That whole little segmant on The Soup was good, of course the Shannel part was amazing! but also when the dj guy or whatever commented on how hot Bebe's
ryhme was, I was rolling. when I watched it originally it wasn't funny, but the way the edited it and Joel's reaction to it, made me crack up.
