I dunno. But who is World's Only Kurt Busch Fan? I know a guy who's a Kurt Busch fan. I wonder if they're one and the same.

There must be two Kurt Busch fans then. But I love your avatar.

Thanks, Larry! Easter one will be forthcoming.
For you Clint Bowyer fans, this is from jayski.com (in case you didn't already know): Bowyer on TV show tonight: NASCAR driver #33-Clint Bowyer gives an inspirational pep talk to "The Biggest Loser" contestants when they face one of their toughest challenges yet - each pulling a two-ton car on NBC's series "The Biggest Loser: Couples." The show is scheduled to air Tuesday, March 24 (9-11 p.m. ET/PT) on NBC immediately following President Obama's primetime news conference at 8:00pm/et.(RCR PR)(3-24-2009)I guess having Jimmy Spencer or Tony on there wouldn't have reinforced the show's message, huh? |

Well, I wasted two hours of my life watching The Biggest Loser just to see Bowyer on there for, what, 5 minutes. I won't be watching it again.
Unfortunately, I won't be online Sunday during the race. I'll be at my sisters' place watching my autistic brother while they're at a religious retreat, and they have no computer. With nothing to do but watch TV, attempt to clean their house, do my laundry, and put up with my brother, I am fucking going to lose my mind. I can watch the race, but I can't even watch Raceday because they have every fucking movie channel in existence but don't have the sports tier which includes Speed Channel. ARGH! Since I have to drive home Sunday night, I can't even participate in the Martinsville drinking game, which involves gulping a shot every time the following are mentioned: (1) the plane crash that killed a bunch of Hendricks (it killed Tony's helicopter guy, too, I think -- which they NEVER mention!), (2) the dead Hendricks themselves, or (3) it being the anniversary of said plane crash. There are other things, too, that I think prompt participants to take shots. Oh, and when GayJay wins AGAIN, finish the damn bottle. Or if it is less than about half full, open another bottle and finish it along with the original bottle. However, I am going to leave y'all with the Jimmie Johnson voodoo dolls. Use them judiciously, wisely, and often!

Kyle Busch participated in the "Smell My Face: Beltway Race 2" today for DC101's Elliot in the Morning. He was leading the entire race, only to
be stopped for excessive use of a horn on the homestrecth. Flounder, local personality, who had previously been stopped for going 57 in a 55, regained the lead
and took home the trophy for the 2nd time in a row. He previously defeating Helio Castroneves three years ago.

Qualifying rained out. Matthew actually gets a good starting position, but will unfortunately finish 35th because HE FUCKING SUCKS AT MARTINSVILLE!!

And so begins the streak of rained out qualifying sessions.
But for once, I have a reason to like it. |

Tom - not only were all four of them in the top 10, but both Stewart-Haas drivers finished there too** and they get their engines (and Tony got his crew chief)
from Hendrick.
*shudders* I survived staying at my sisters' place. They paid me for it and reimbursed me for the groceries I bought them. Just walked in the door about a half hour ago and had no trouble staying awake on the drive home, thanks to being able to kinda nap this evening while waiting for my sisters to return home. Saw the race and really missed being able to be online during it. Very surprised to hear no mention of the dead Hendricks. I guess they were too busy talking about it being the 25th anniversary of their first win. Digger must die. **YAY! |
