And do we know yet why Ben said to Sayid last year the thing about "we all remember what happened the last time you thought with your heart instead of your gun"? I think when Sayid fell for the economist assistant and she shot him and he had to kill her. I love longhaired leather jacket wearing Sayid!!!!! the scene with the bounty hunter was hot unitl she kicked him with her boot! |

Couple of things. The way Sayid didn't do some essential things to ensure Ben was actually dead makes me think that either that's where the next
episode picks up and he actually does do those things or that he was still feeling some of the effects of the drugs he was given.
And I am sad to say this as Sayid has become one of my favorite characters but the way he kept talking about fufilling his purpose has me agreeing with others on here that he's not much longer for Lost-world. I think it's probably for the best though. He has always had movie roles and his character didn't have much to do anymore anyway. |

Don't forget last week ... the co-pilot of Ajira 316 picking up the Numbers broadcast in 2007, which shouldn't have been there....unless they went back in time to 2007 maybe? I mean if one group can land in 1977 it makes sense that the other group COULD have also moved in time...or at least it shouldn't be a foregone conclusion that they didn't. Time travel stories tend to suck like that, it starts as a lazy writer's plot device, and devolves into a shit ton of work to write yourself out of, and usually is used as the plot device that explains itself in the end. |

My theory about hearing the numbers transmission is that as the plane approached the island it briefly passed through the 70's, dropped off Jack,Kate,etc then returned to the present. We didn't hear the numbers until they were in the process of landing on the runway, long after the flash had subsided. |

It would appear that Timothy Leary never died. He's on the island! Yeah, but if that Oldham guy were a real Dharma bum he would have skipped the sugar cube approach and brought out the blotter acid. It's much faster-acting and easier to regulate the dose. |

It's interesting that perhaps the only reason the DI ever thought about experimenting with time travel is because Sayid and company might make the concept plausible to the DI and Ann Arbor.I was thinking the same thing, and wondering when the Orchid station was being built, since that one was used to send bunnies around in time. We also don't know where Eloise fits in during this time period, because she was told about visitors from the future as far back as the 1950's (assuming that Ellie girl is the same Eloise). |

It could be that the numbers (6 numbers .... Oceanic 6) were an indication of what seat assignments were or were not flashed out of the plane. Anyone know
where everyone was sitting? They were all spread out on flight 316, so perhaps Sun and Ben were not sitting in the right seats to flash out.
I'm also waiting to see how Lenard (the guy in the Psych Ward with Hurley) and the Australian guy that Hurley went to visit fit into all this. For some reason I was expecting Oldham to be Lenard. |

I wonder when we're going to be given an explanation of exactly who Richard and the Others are, and how they came to be on the island, along with why
Richard doesn't age.
It was a nice surprise to see William Sanderson. Actually, I didn't really recognize him for a few seconds until he spoke. No mistaking THAT voice!
