I sometimes feel kind of bad while reading this thread, thinking everyone goes to far mocking the death of his wife and then I feel bad for hating him so much.
But every single fucking time he's on my tv, he manages to annoy the hell out of me and my hate starts up all over again. Even if it wasn't for the
overpimping of the dead wife, he has so many other qualities that are so annoying about him.
At least he's not first on dial idol so that at least shows he's beatable. |

As a Taylor Hicks fan, I object to people constantly comparing this egotistical, overfed, overpimped jackass to Taylor. Their only points of similarity are
their spastic dancing and limited appeal. Taylor Hicks is a nice guy with a good singing voice who won DESPITE the judges and could have made a good, albeit
fairly uncommercial, CD if Clive's interference hadn't ruined things. Danny is in love with himself, can hardly sing and hasn't had a good
performance yet. And if you think Taylor's CD didn't sell, just wait till Danny wins and his CD doesn't even go gold.

I don't remember really hating a contestant on AI. I didn't like some of them, but I did not have an inner burning hatred like I do with Danny.
I actually kind liked him before the final 36. I am from Wisconsin; a Cheesehead with a dead wife blinded my judgement. (Sorry Scott) I seriously don't get him on any level. |

Ignoring Smokey's sound advice, especially after the "moment of clarity" he tried to pull off, shows what an arrogant manipulative egomaniac he is. By allowing the background singers to sing, he essentially placed himself on a pedestal. Hopefully people will start to see through him like we all do. |
