So if killing Ben changed things it should not have happened yet. Not only that, but Ben was on the plane while the numbers were broadcasting so he couldn't be dead dead. Unless he was undead.

While I love the hotness that is Sayid, this episode really dragged. Who the hell couldn't tell he was going to try and take out l'il Ben? It was so obvious from the previews. So now we know how and why Sayid got to be on the plane. And yeah...where the fuck is Sayid going to go? My first reaction is he's going to do himself in. Still, nothing like sacrificing your lives back in reality to go and try to help your friends off the island and basically get pissed on by them. (Okay, now I'm again reflecting my anger back at the Sawyer, Jin, Juliet changes....time to hit the post button.)

It's because he shot young Ben that he ended up being older Ben's bitch. If he did change his ways rather than fall victim to his old ways like older Ben encouraged, things would be a lot more interesting. It's these types of details that really shine in Lost.

I fear right to the bitter end. Did Ben end up a psycho and manipulator after being screwed by Sayid or or vice versa. There never going to be any real answer to satisfy me short of the parallel time line theory.
