I loved Jewel's husband's partner falling down (dont know her name) and then they stumbled again out there again at the end of the performance.
I wonder if they factored in that slip in the score or not, are they grading the professional and star as a couple or just the star. |

Aside from Chuck/Julianne, who are a big bowl of smarm, there's no one I am desperate to get rid of. Denise is godawful, but her weird neuroses and strange deadness are a fascinating combo. The one who bores me the most, besides Chuck, is Melissa, but even she's bringing out some good bitchiness from Carrie Ann and various pros. Laurence and Shaun both kind of bore me, but they have their moments. Considering that these people should NOT be doing sambas this early in the competition, I was surprised at how good Lil Kim and Gilles were. |

They have the most unforced connection of any couple this season That's probably because Chelsie & Dimitry lived at Ty & Jewel's ranch for a month prior to the show, so they're probably very comfortable with each other. I pretty much like everyone this season except The Woz (who is painful to watch while dancing, but even more painful to listen to) and Denise. Oh, and Julieanne & her boyfriend, but she just bugs me and he seems like an idiot. Steve-O and Holly probably won't be around long as they can't dance, but I'm enjoying them while they're still there. Steve-O seems like a really nice guy; Holly is just interesting. Love Ty but I think he may be in trouble with Latin dancing. Maybe his new confidence level will help him. Really like Laurence Taylor. I think he gets off some good but subtle one-liners. DAG really improved this week, and I think he'll do better with the Latin numbers than Ty will. Love both Melissa and Shawn, and hope they stay around. Also, their partners are my two favorite male pros. Really like Lil' Kim more than I thought I would, but she distracts me from her dancing. I get so hung up on her facial expressions and the hair under her armpits that I stop watching her dance. Always have to go back just to watch the dance. |
