hopefully this isn't going to get raped in the ratings tonight being up against BSG. i am sure they share a large part of the same audience.

Dollhouse has been fun so far, but almost completely missing Whedons sense of humor.

I haven't been disappointed by this show yet. I really hope it lasts. I thought this episode was great, and the next one looks awesome too.

This episode lived up to the fucking hype. Fantastic. I would just like to say, I'd pick Mellie for my active engagement. Hubba hubba

It was nice to see some real forward motion in a story concept that could have easily lapsed into 'doll situation of the week' mode. I feel like
there's something at stake finally.

Oh, and I love the "interviews" they did. The writing of this show is very smart and realistic.

I loved this episode! I felt a hint o' Whedon when Echo was being dragged out of the house past the bedroom and was all "See... Porn!"
When they were fighting in the alley I kept flashing back to the Buffy/Faith fights and wondered if her fight double was the same. I hope to hell they keep this show. |

So there are Dollhouses around the world. The one on LA is just the tip of the iceberg. Was the "corrupted" imprint for Echo when she revealed things
to Paul the truth or wa it faked by DeWitt?
When Mellie changed over, the change in the actresses face was amazing, she really did seem like she was changed, there was almost a flash in her eyes. Just an amazing episode. Oh and the man on the street interview that thought it would be a good deal for a guy that would like to see what it's like to mess around with another, nothing "queeny", that was priceless. And the look on the face of the woman he was with made the whole thing

OMG BEST EPISODE EVER!!
And whoever said there were Hints o Joss, well thats because he wrote this episode!! Awesome awesome awesome! I don't read spoilers so I was so freaking sad when it looked like Mellie was going to die. It reminded me of Buffy running back to the school to find Kendra dead... I thought for sure Mellie was going to die. Seeing her get thrown around and her struggling to get away and then thinking the phone call was from the agent guy.. i was like And the fight scene in the alley was amazing! It was like watching Faith kick some ass again. BEST EPISODE EVER!! I love this show!! Please bring it back for season 2 PLEEEEEEEEEASE! |

I want to do Melie something fierce.
She's like the much hotter version of Amber Benson. |

That was absolutely fantastic and utterly Whedon. I went back to look at the credits because I was SURE he'd written it, and lo and behold he had.
I officially love this show and it breaks my heart that there are only 7 EPISODES LEFT |

I hope that by constantly declaring this show's inevitable cancellation, Murphy's law will prove me a fool and get the damn thing renewed.

Oh yes. This was a good episode. Finally we get an explanation of what this story is about and a drawing of lines. So now we know the inside person who
corrupted the imprint is not Alpha. Alpha was the one who sent him the information on Caroline. We don't know what he's up to. But we know the inside
person realizes the Dollhouse is up to something but needs Bellard to find out exactly what it is? The pieces are there but they are not fitting together just
yet.
I have to agree with everyone here it's sad to find out that Mellie is not a real person. Miracle Laurie is great at the role. Joss Whedon's script was very Whedonesque as always. Excellent episode. |

Fucking amazing episode. DEFINITELY lived up to the hype. I also liked that Eliza Dushku was pretty much reduced to a supporting role; finally, the show
wasn't all about her and I think that definitely played in its favour.
I can't shake the feeling that it was DeWitt who corrupted the imprint; her visit with Echo at the end made it clear that she's invested in her, and what other reason could she possibly have? |
