I got my ass handed to me today. My South bracket looks like it was mauled by a bear.

CBSSports has a neat 16 team 'bracket' where you pick the most Memorable Moments in tournaments past until you arrive at your choice for the most
memorable of them all. It doesn't take long to do at all, and it's a neat little trip down memory lane.
'Most Memorable Moments' bracket You know, the second day games seem to be the ones where the good double-digit upsets tend to occur. We've certainly got some good possibilities on-tap today in which that tendency could once again repeat itself. I'll usually do fairly well in Day 1, only to get hammered by an upset game or two in Day 2, because of this. |

I picked the wrong 12 over 5 game. One happens every year.
15-1 was an unlikely result for me. |

10-4....I might as well stop paying attention.

ILL, there were 16 games yesterday... you're probably either 10-6, or 12-4.
Regardless of that, though, if your bracket didn't take at least a couple of big hits into the Regionals, you're fine. Any person who has... eh, 13 or more of the Sweet Sixteen teams alive in their bracket is absolutely still in the running for having a fantastic, winning result. |

My brackets all sucked, but at least I didn't take any 2nd round hits.

Make that 10 and 6.
I only ticked off correct picks on my sheet. |

when Villanova was down 14 and Gonzaga was trailing early second half, I was on the verge of tearing up my bracket
Butler and BYU can kiss my ass. every single year I get burned in the 8-9 matchups. 13-3 after day one is pretty adequate though. |

Had I gone with my gut (Maryland over Cal), I would be one of 25,3xx peeps on ESPN with a perfect first day bracket.
Oh, well, at least I beat the President (11-5). The other game I had heartburn over, I went with both Washington (ESPN) and Mississippi State (Yahoo). |

yea I think I probably forgot to put in the stupid score and thats why it didn't take my pick.
That kinda fucks the thing for me, even though I did not have MSU winning. I'm 13-3 in the work pool since I had Cal and not Maryland. (No clue why I did that) |

If it makes you feel better that's exactly how I typed this ;)

Yeah, your total possible score is way low. I suggest firebombing* yahoo.
* by that I mean doing nothing. |

^=== What he said.
H, she knows - I clued her into that misstep yesterday. SO, with that in mind, there's two answers for you, Missy: - Just counting already-earned points, you're in an 8-way tie for 2nd at the moment. - If you're going by 'still possible points', though (and this is presuming that we count your Michigan State Pitt winning it all dealie), you're in... a 14-way tie for16th. This one's the one which ultimately really counts. Again though, it doesn't really matter at this point - these are chump-change points, here. Your Sweet 16's still fully intact, so you're all good... just as much so as anyone else in the same position. |

Yea, I think I have Pitt in 5/6 of the Pools I am in (I have UNC in the other).
