This is bullshit. The venom isn't directed at Christians or people who are religious. It's direct at fundamentalist Christians and religious folks who are hypocritical and do not practice what they preach. Folks who are in your face assholes about their religion and discriminatory views. Most of this so called venom that you're talking about is the comments directed towards Danny's "church" which has shown itself to be a very classless sham of a religious institution.

There are 4 other devout Christians on the show but you wouldn't know it and you don't see venom being spewed at them simply because they're religious or like Jesus. Kris Allen, Matt G, Lil Rounds and Michael Sarver are all Christians too and if you'll notice no one is hating on them for it.

It's not about people being Christian, it's about they way they portray themselves as being Christian and then act in such a way that Jesus himself would probably agree to let the townspeople stone them.

Don't pull out your bs about people hating on religion when that isn't that case at all. Religion isn't the issue, it's the way they use religion to justify discrimination, hate and other un-Christ like activities like scamming $$ out of your parishioners.
