Yeah, I sure was pissed at the show I watch for free that's beamed into my home at night so I literally don't have to move a fucking muscle, and that
after 7 seasons of some pretty hilarious shows I can't sit still for three minutes while the creator scratches some weird itch.

Actually Family guy is known for gags that go on too long. Look at all the chicken fights. The only thing different here was it was an annoying Conway Twitty
song.

I for one like the long gags. Bird is the word didn't hurt me. Neither did Stewie saying Mommy a billion times. Peter grabbing his leg in the golden ticket episode, or the chicken fights. I loved all of those long moments. They almost get the uncomfortable part and then stop before you get that weird twitchy feeling. They have used Twitty before and yes this time it went on a bit too long, but I think that may have been part of the point. |
