As the EI Alliance grows stronger, they start to run the risk of being discovered by outsiders and a self assured castaway lets her ego run away with her as she becomes convinced she's safe while her tribe contemplates voting her out.

Well I guess the self assured person has to be a member of the Exile Alliance - either Taj or Sierra.
I cant imagine Erinn being confident, and Sydney is unlikely to be targetted with Joe and Spencer in her pocket.
The previews imply Taj gets a bit loud and cocky next ep.....maybe she is blindsided before the Exile Alliance actually does anything!

Probably. But I assumed that all the ep 2 comments about Sandy being the next to go should Jalapao lose immunity again were setting her up for a long run in the game. Until she was voted out the next time she lost immunity. So possibly not...?

well spencer said that it would be Caroline then Sandy, but in reality it went Caroline, Jerry then Sandy lol. Most of the time when you are shown as being a target in the previews it means your safe at least for that episode.

If there is a swap next ep I wouldn't be surprised if this drama with Taj all happens before the swap.

It may be that because it's now a tie between Joe, Spencer, Sydney and JT, Stephan, Taj that Taj is setting up a trap.

That would be a great move. Kinda like Randy did but he had Bob's fake idol.
Merge is comming up... have the immunity idol... deflect he vote to you....make sure your alliance is safe.... vote out the strongest....
your 3 way tribe allaince has the majority...

BUT... a tribal switcheroo could majorly disrupt the plans. OR could really benefit if the EXILE 4 + TJ all end up on the same tribe. lol

Here's my new thought...

Even though the exile alliance would be really powerful with 2 idols between 4 members.. Let's say no one else besides Brendan/Taj/Stephen/Sierra go to exile, and Taj uses the Jalapao idol to get rid of Sydney/Joe. If everyone knew that Taj played the idol, I don't think anyone would ever suspect that Brendan would have an idol too.

The not-preformingest male out there is Ben, but that's not suddenly news. Joe? He was a bit of an under-performer in the weight holding one, too.

Maybe some sort of obstacle course? I could easily imagine someone leaping from one something to another, instead of climbing down or going around, and bashing a tooth out on part of the apparatus. Ambiguity on the gender for this one - could it be Erinn, feeling like she needs to overachieve, following up on the web scene with Ben accusing her of saying she wasn't good at physical challenges?

i dont know why but that tyson ratting out brendan and secret alliance scene might be after an immunity loss.....im thinking brandon gets blindsided or coach may be get idol'd

- Tyson figures out the EI alliance, or at least part of it.
- The one who lets her "ego run away with her" could be Sydney. She's positive she has all the men on her side, but she doesn't have Stephen and JT. It could be about Taj after they show that fight, but I might doubt it. I think it's either about Sydney, or it's about Taj and a misdirection that's going to be a distraction for Sydney's boot.
- JT is the "overzealous" castaway that loses a tooth.
- The one who doesn't perform in the challenge is maybe Joe? Or it could be Stephen. Either way, I'm sure it means nothing.

No pictures of IC yet. Which survivors would the writers be most likely to describe as "overzealous" (and be the one that loses a tooth?)
Stephen (edited as city-boy, trying hard)
JT (strong, and shown running all out in challenges)
Tyson (zealous enough to do his unga-bunga dance)
Joe (trying to protect Sydney, make up for a rather "meh" performance previously)

It sounds to me like the snaggle-toothed one might have been about to discard it when they were told "your going to want that tooth." It could just be that it was lost beside some challenge-structure woodwork, or in the water when they over-zealously collide with another survivor.

Will they be given the option of med-evac to reattach the tooth, and return to the game?

I think the self-assured castaway is Taj but I agree that it's misdirection.

Overzealous tooth-loser could be anyone so I'm going out on a limb and saying Debbie (for no good reason except she's perky)

We already know that Tyson seems to have sussed out *something * about Brendan possibly "going with the other tribe" but I'm hoping it comes to nothing because this cross-tribe alliance is the greatest thing since Hatch conceived of alliances in Season 1. AND if the cross-tribe alliance causes Tyson, or better yet He-Who-I-Refuse-To-Name-Ever-Again to have their dreams crushed, even better.

And the obvious answer to someone not performing in the challenge is the aforementioned He-Who-I-Refuse-To-Name-Ever-Again who thus far has proven to be a solid flop. ("Clearly I'm stronger than Brendan" be damned!) BUT it's likely someone on the losing tribe so it depends on who we think loses.
