However I think that potential (like actual model potential -- height, measurements, bone structure) should count for something and she definitely had that already at the time. That she could take good pictures (whether they were at the front of the pack is certainly subjective) showed at least that the talent was there. I know this show is all about "making something out of nothing" -- and I mean, nothing! -- but it's just so ridiculous when girls with the makings of actual working models and who don't outright flop in the competition (I would put Ann, C5 Kim, and Fatima in this category -- obviously they have gone on to do really well post-show, but a win would have been injustificable given their performances in the competition) get tossed out on their asses in favour of pet projects.

I was in Lowe's shopping for a new door bell when I noticed that she walked by me. I literally did a double take because I couldn't believe that she would be in Lowes! So I stopped her and asked if she was Furonda. She smiled and said yes. She was so sweet and absolutely gorgeous in person and tall and freakishly thin. We talked for a good 10 minutes. I asked her what she was up too. She said she just got back from New York and was going to be teaching classes here in Arkansas. (She also gave me her card.) I asked if she kept up with other girls from her season. She said she just saw Dani (she corrected me every time I called her Danielle), Mollie Sue, and Nenna while in New York. She gave me a big hug and took a pic with me. She was so awesome. Furonda <3!
