Uh-oh; if he reprises Home I might vomit into my keyboard. Nice song selection, I think. He sits center stage on a stool, but it's pitchy out of the box. Audience starts a very off-putting clap, too early for this song I think. He stands and the vocal is more solid, better supported. Misses the falsepat high note, although not badly. The bridge is a little boring, and a little 'safe' overall for me. He brings the title line, some volume; better tone, as well. Not fantastic, but good enough perhaps? We'll see.

Randy: Not the most perfect vocal, but the parts that were great were really great. You hit the big notes. I can feel the passion pouring out of you. Props to you, job well done.

Kara: You move mountains when you step on that stage, you're passionate and you don't make excuses. I want America to see you play and sing. That's when they're really gonna see Scott. I hope they give you that chance.

Poler: I'm happy and proud that you made it here. You're a genius on the piano. You blessed us with your gift.
Simon: Honest, I wasn't crazy about the song, particularly the lyrics. But I have to say you're growing on me. You're starting to believe in yourself and I didn't see that when you came. In a sea of forgettable people, you're the only one I'll remember, who I think has some relevant. I'll be amazed if you don't sail through to the next round.
