Haha, it's good to see that the Dutch fans are just as creative/crazy in formulating their theories. Now watch it be an actual clue!
Art: Out of curiosity, is there a reason why the last few seasons (except for the Junior edition) has been all celebrities? Are TV ratings as big of a deal in the Netherlands as they are here?
Art: Who was your Mole pick after Episode 1?
The first celebrity season was a big hit (great cast, location, etc). So they did another celebrity season, which was also succesful and had good ratings. When the second celebrity season was airing, one of the contestants died (strangely enough this person played Rick's wive in a soap opera; the episode in which Rick and her got married is still the best-watched episode of the soap ever). The producers handled that really well. I guess the show got a lot of respect for that.
Ratings are a part of it, though they shouldn't be that important. See this graph for ratings (2001-2003 = non-celebs, 2005-2009 = celebs):
My pick pre-show was Jon, because he's smarter than he looks like and people will underestimate him. After the first episode I had no idea who it could be. I answered Jon again in the poll, for no particular reason.
