which is a big fuck you to vftw.![]()
The problem is that VFTW is going to win in the end because someone they think is good, is going to turn out to be overrated. And that's especially true with this Top 36.

As soon as I saw Tatiana and Gokey last week, I called Nick and Adam for Group 2, and Nate and Lil/Scott for Group 3.

^^ not really. It's kinda obvious Kris would be the one making it. Because if it was Megan, then all the girls on the couch were automatically eliminated,
since Allison already made it through. (The "highest female, highest male, next highest" rule)
The suspenseful moment should be the Anoop vs. Michael one |

The producers figure that people will turn the channel as soon as their favorite person is announced / sings....so they don't put the 3rd place person as
the last singer. They put the person with the most total votes last so that the viewers hang on until their favorite sings.

Paging Nigel...the show is EVEN WORSE with you gone..paging Nigel.. | ||

I agree that the results shows have been horribly managed compared to previous seasons. They should be announcing the most obvious winners early on (the pimped
ones), then the less obvious (the women), then the genuinely suspenseful ones. Michael Vs. Tititana would have been exciting. And Nick/Norman should have been
up there with Kris and Megan at the end last week. It's like somebody very high up has no idea what's going on, except for the obvious decision to save
the drama queens for the finish.

I don't think it's just lack of suspense. I think this season, more than the last, is being carefully engineered by the producers and maybe the judges
to create a particular top twelve. They've been very careful about who's had screen time and pimp them even when they suck. When singers that
haven't had screen time hit it out of the park (Ricky Braddy) they call them bland or boring or something else is wrong with them. kris Allen was a fluke
-- despite the judge's best efforts everyone else they were pimping totally flopped and the audience could tell. In fact, the existence of Kris Allen in
the finals is the only thing that gives me any faith that actual votes are still being counted in this competition. Or maybe the producers just knew that
after those group two performances they couldn't slip something so obvious over on the audience as putting Matt G or Kai through.
I think the wildcards will truly be telling. Since it appears obvious that six guys will make it through in the group rounds, will the judges only consider females in the wildcard? Will they continue their insistence that there be even numbers, or will they let the superior male group of singers prevail (remember in season two we endedup with a top twelve because the girls were so dismal in the group rounds but they had to get Clay Aiken into the finals -- so they created four wild cards and gave three of them to girls). Pretty clear from the pimping so far that Tatiana and Megan will be wildcards -- will anyone who doesn't bring the right element of drama/backstory really have a shot at making it?

You'd think Nigel's absence would have made the show better but obviously Nigel wasn't the issue.

I wonder if they know the order of callouts prior to the show. Obviously, they know which seat they are in, but it's not clear which seat will be the one
they start with or which direction they will go. Sometimes, they even bounce around in the seating. Nick/Tati being seated next to Adam/Danny wasn't
AUTOMATICALLY a death sentence until they announced two other people going through each week when those favorites' fates hadn't been announced...

OMG, do you think we'll have to wait until the end of the show tomorrow to find out whether Lil Rounds makes the top 12?! How can we wait?
