Kate being pregnant by Jack would ruin this show... I can handle time travel. I can handle Vincent being jacob... But Kate getting knocked up by Jack, is hard to swallow. It's creepy on so many levels. The only conceivable reason to do it, would be to throw a wrench into Sawyer and Kate's upcoming relationship... At least, I think it's upcoming. Even then, it's just a bad idea. Darlton can't be that stupid, especially since this show is hitting on all cyclinders now.

If ya think it's creepy because Kate would be pregnant by Jack but end up with Sawyer, uhh who cares? I wouldn't be surprised by that. I kinda think Jack will die at the end of the series anyway. I don't like it but... *shrug*

It would be creepy because of how it all came about. Kate laying on his bed like a zombie, clearly not in her right mind (her running away the next day seems to give the impression she knew it was a mistake) and then get purposefully getting pregnant (to replace another child) without Jack's consent to it. Then jumping back to Sawyer... Isn't that creepy? Or is it just me? It's all very twisted. Not only all of that, but Jack is fucked up enough. His storyline's could be great. They're begging to be great again (I've not been a fan of his for a few seasons, liked him a lot in s1). It would keep his character in that one dimensional state. He's finally evolving, let him be. As for your thought about jack dying... If Kate is pregnant, jack does die, and she ends with Sawyer... That's the storyline to Pearl Harbor. I'd never wish for that. Ever. Can we agree that's bad?

Are you saying it makes no sense for Kate EVER to get pregnant? Did you think Sun or Claire getting pregnant was creepy and ruined the show? Why?

Or are you fine with Kate getting pregnant, you just find the idea that its also Jacks baby that you find creepy and the demise of the show...which is the case, you have some serious Jack issues to deal with :p

I think the circumstances of Kate's pregnancy (if true) are creepy. Why I think it will ruin the show? Because I think it's retarded, that's why. Even Sawyer would think of it as hillbilly backwards, I'm sure. I don't care for the jater or skater stroylines, but this would add a layer of stupid. The love triangle is coming, I'm prepared for it. But to take it to that level, it would completely destroy focus on the show. It would destroy Jack's character developement, which is taking leaps. I'm actually getting interested in him again. I don't want him brooding over Kate's depression baby. I don't want Kate (who sucks as it is) to be bogged down by new Aaron (like Alex was Ben's daughter for better or worse, Aaron is Kate's). And lastly, I don't want Sawyer to be taken in with this whole disaster of a storyline, should it come to fruition. He's Han Solo. He shouldn't be changing Jack's babies diapers. He shouldn't be so desperate to be with Kate, he just accepts this.

It's bad for the characters and bad for the show, IMO.
