I mean, why bother? Wouldn't storming the White House be more of a shock to America than an airplane collision or a meltdown at a chemical plant? And these guys think they're taking over the White House with Bill, Aaron, Jack and Tony on the case?

I liked how Jack warned Agent Walker about next time she pulls her gun on him, she better intend to use and she replied with "I did!!!" Go Jill! I also like how they are tying things up this season and moving straight into another threat. Keeps me on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next. I don't like the filler episodes of season's passed.

First, she tells Moss that "Erica got everything!". Then a commercial break. Then Chloe says "oh, except for that secret mirror partition i made of a ultra-top-secret chipset"? So in other words, when given the most top secret info possible, the FBI is going to let an analyst who just started working there 2 hours ago make backup copies and NO ONE at the FBI even knew about it? Seems like a bit of a stretch. Maybe if Chloe had said "i didn't trust your people, so i made another backup only I knew about" I could accept it. This was like the writers forgot what they had just wrote in the last scene.

I'm wondering where they go after next week's 2-hour episode where it looks like they break into the White House and threaten to kill the Pres. I can't see that being dragged-out for the rest of the season, and where's Mr. Voight?

I was surprised that the disposed of Erica as quickly as they did. I thought she had the potential to get interesting.

I guess that's why they showed us the weasel saving his wife's airplane. Agreeance on the car flip. As good special effects as it gets. Is there a behind the scenes making of clip of that sequence. I am a little annoyed that they're hitting the reset button so abruptly. Kick ass first half of the season, though, so one can't complain too hard. Here's to the rest!

There were about 3 different plotlines Jack hit. Just as he freed Audrey's dad from the terrorists in the first 8 episodes some more shit hit the fan the next 8.

No more unbelievable than Jack walking over to some random dude with "police" on his cap and handing over the "bloody" chipset with instructions to fly it over to the FBI. Yeah, after all Jack went through in all of the previous hours (plus this ep's car chase with spectacular flip/crash, gutting Dubaku and dead Marika) to get that chipset, Jack would just pass it off to some stranger in a cap. And then the cap dude would just randomly follow Jack's orders and get it exactly where it needed to go (to Chloe) in like two minutes. The chipset was even cleaned of the Dubaku blood when Chloe got it. I love 24. It all makes sense.

Having her be in on it was a nice twist, its always a single mole in CTU/FBI/whatever. Once she was evil it was pretty obvious he was gonna off her as a cover though. Still, wish she'd been kept around, cause her crazy paranoia/slutiness was pretty entertaining. ReneeGoddess' emotional breakdown in the hallway was so omgtouching! I love her, shes MAKING this season for me. The writers better recognize and never kill her off. The president is obvi not gonna get killed any time soon since they haven't introduced a VP. Who would replace her? Some random guy just shows up on screen?
