I still have yet to determine which version is harder. I think that 2.0 is physically harder while 3.0 is painfully harder.

IMO. I think that 1.0 is the experimental version. Now it's like child's play compared to 2.0 and 3.0

#9 you cracked me up when you were in your penalty started to announce yourself. "step right up for this one time one time only, to see the slowest
crawling man alive.....obssessed with well...not winning... but not losing."
It was hilarious and at the same time sent a message. |

I"m bored, so here's an analysis of seasons 1 and 2 contestants i've been meaning to post for a while. I'll do season 3 once it's over,
and so far I think it goes 2>3>1 in terms of hardness.
SEASON 1 #1: Pam was the sort of ordinary person that just really showed a suprising amount of drive, especially for her age. She seemed like she was really able to rely on herself to get as far as she did, and even pulled a Stephen up until she messed up and swallowed the vials. Very much by far the best #1 yet. #2: I personally believe that Michelle was the hottest solitarian yet, but other than that she did'nt bring much to the table. She wasn't mentally there for either of the challenges and seemed to be weighed down emotionally by her kids. She may have done better in 2.0 where it was more physical, but overall she's pretty forgettable. #3: As a competitor, Taralee was one of the best of her season. Making it to the final three off of consecutive test wins and only quitting twice through the game, which is pretty good. I really think the whole "shyness" thing was a publicity stunt though. #4: Florin seemed like a cool, laid back dude who just does and says his own thing and was just done in by his weight. Physically I'd say he ties with Mark as the toughest. #5: Mark was colorful and went into the game with a hecklotta resolve, and was able to take on every test in the game until the very last one. He seemed to be "strategic" about quitting, which I hate, but he's definatly one of the toughest solitaryans, and absolutely the toughest #5. #6: If you pay attention you can see him start to break around the 3rd or 4th episode. Cliff's one of those people that knows how to behave but has/had personal stability issues, seeing as he lost because of a crutch. I remember on one of those behind the scenes things that one of the producers couldn't stand him and kept calling him a mamma's boy. But still, he cleaned up for the first two episodes. #7: A God-fearing man who seemed to have issues with failure but was otherwise very ordinary. Hes' also the reason why pod 7 needs a 400 pound lifeless slob in season 4 to restore the balance. Do it FR #8: Danielle was and always will be awesome, but was too emotionally unstable for the game. She just did'nt have it, but she does win 'Most Entertaining of season 1'. #9: Count the stereotypes. SEASON 2 #1: #2: Wins the patience award. Problem was she was too physically weak to make it to the end, and would have lost sooner if Kim didn't quit and Leroy dropped some pounds before going in. #3: YOU get to fill in the blanks, I don't know if I can do justice for yall. #4: Little Kimberly was a recovering alcoholic who got engaged before the day she entered solitary. If you're one of those clever people that can read between the lines, you should have seen the words "emotionally f***ed up" in bold size 48 print. No wonder she quit the first day. #5: Kinda awkward but extremely awesome, the beginning challenges didn't cater to Leroy at all, since they both punised him for his weight. The spicy food thing was unexpected, but I felt like it was justice for losing the last test. Overall, Leroy's results weren't good but weren't expected either. #6: That's right, season 2 didn't have 1, but 2 milf's. The only thing I remember about Michelle was her impression of Phu. She wasn't outstanding in any way. #7: Tyler, at least to me seemed like a foil to Cliff. He actually was built up from a seemed like a timid dude to the best competitor (tied) on the season, or the editors were just that good. I would have had no idea that he was in the navy for the first few episodes. He also got totally robbed at the end. #8: Phu won the game. Phu also won alot of tests. But Phu also quit second in every treatment he was in except one, and got copped out by VAL twice (and the second time was for ratings sake). I could keep going but I'm typing way too much. He does tie with Nikki for most entertaining though. #9: From what I've seen on the internet most people don't like JP because somebody like him took your lunch money or went out with that girl that you liked to nervously stare at when she wasn't looking. Admit that the dude showed a lot of heart and gave it his all in everything he did, cause it's pretty hard to deny. He ties with 7 as the seasons toughest competitor, and the 2 made good rivals. He was alright for reality fodder. SUPRISE ANALYSIS Todd Newton: An absolute force to be reckoned with, when and if I make it on the show, his prescence will be the one thing that I both fear and loathe. I'm done typing for a few weeks now. |

I know I'm late, but I finally got a chance to watch the last episode. I thought it was the best episode of the season by far, probably because the entire final 5 is awesome. The whole cast was awesome though, so I guess that isn't saying much. Anyways, it was a great episode, but #9 leaving still sucked. I think he might have passed Nikki for my favorite solitarian ever. |

A Dying Clown wrote: A Dying Clown I profusely apologize for the perceived snub. You are skilled and generous. My ONLY "excuse" in not mentioning you is that it was 3:00 AM California time and I was tired after watching 4 straight episodes of 3.0 and reading 40+ pages of posts to catch up. As thanks and to show my esteem for you, I will soon, hopefully, go back and read/relook at your posts and see if I can adequately address/comment on any of your written contributions. PS. I love the my new "avatar" and that was both an iconic moment and pivotal point in the game. Well done. "I love A Dying Clown.... 500 times!"

Freakout Ride critiqued...
"#7: A God-fearing man who seemed to have issues with failure but was otherwise very ordinary. Hes' also the reason why pod 7 needs a 400 pound lifeless slob in season 4 to restore the balance. Do it FR" quoted with my emphasis. You know, I do recall NO podmate even mentioned me as a someone to watch out for in that first episode. Plus, VAL in one episode (I bet ROBROB could tell us) said that the "most ordinary" ended up winning. So Freakout... you would agree that the Number 7s have been collectively tough competitors. Once again 11% chance of any given number, so FR won't be sandbagging any future Sevens! #3s consistently tough.. potentially F3 each season! #8s very strong, but pulled down by a very endearing Danielle who would skin by #4s is up and down... Florin strong, RORROB superfan now supercontestant, but alas Kim kills it with not making it even to the first Treatment! Here's a mind blower... super allstar Solitary having each season's number starting 3 to a pod battling it out ala "Battle of the Pod" to make it 9 allstars OR have the trio work in teams eliminating 6 of 9 numbers which then leaves 9 podmates. I'm sure it will never happen, but a guy can always dream, right? There are TOO many MIA cast members. I do need to give props to Season 3.0 for enduring some insane pain challenges and how accessible they are to the "fans". |

AKANumber7 wrote:Val is definitely "drawing blood" in a rip-all-the-skin-off-your-knees-and-elbows-as-you-crawl-around-your-pod-for-hours kind of way. The clips left some blisters and marks, but no blood. |

AKANumber7 wrote:That's a crazy idea. I'm up for it. I think we should start with your 3 to a pod idea, then have two challenges which eliminate 2 of the 3 people in each pod, so that 1 of each number remains in each pod of their original number. That way I for sure get pod #4 again. And no one knows which of the 3 people from each season they are up against. I guess until Val tells us the 3 facts about them. Maybe we skip that for this season so no one knows. Are you listening Val, Golder, and Hiatt? Where's the 3.0 Union Show? Helloooo? :-) |

I don't remember VAL "offering" it to him, though I did find it odd that didn't get the immmunity, but Leroy did.
Stephen played the "I'm guessing someone already quit game", didn't he. I'm thinking ROBROB had some alone time to pump VAL for some behind the scene secrets! Just my intuition. |
