There's a HUGE problem with releasing early seasons at this point.
If they go with commentary like they had been, it would be very difficult to gather up the people from earlier seasons now. Not only that, but if they DO find them and get them to agree to do commentary, there would no longer be any passion or immediate recollection to the events like there was in the seasons that have been released. Most of the contestants from seasons 3-6 probably don't even care about the show any more. They almost have to release seasons 3-6 in a multi-season pack without any commentary and maybe release later seasons with commentary. |

But other old shows that finally get a DVD release manage to gather a few people to give commentaries, even if it is years since the show was made.
I'm sure they could find at least three people from each Survivor season to do a commentary. |

they could always release them exlusively at a certain chain store, a lot of stores like that because theyre the only ones that have it. and its a great sample
experiment to see if they have selling potential. but of course they would have to start with a season like micronesia
