Sekou was on an all black tribe so that doesn't really count.

Taj seems like the odd one out. Spencer/Sydney/Joe are one for sure group. JT and Stephen are another group. Sandy would be safer for the merge because she
wouldn't split, methinks. SSJ and JTS could combine and form an ultra powerful JJSSSS squad with Sandy just kinda... there.
I don't even know what I'm thinking. But it's Sandy, Taj, or Sandyidol next episode. |

I'm going with this whole Taj storyline setting something up a little further down the road, with a Jalapao IC win, and Taj maybe leaving the week after.

Taj, Sandy, Sierra are the most referred here! But I doubt about Sierra. I really think it's Taj

When I first saw the title, this reference was clear. Poison Apple = Witch from Snow White = Sandy's bug eyed creep-me-out look.

The Poison Apple Needs to Go | ||

1st - I think the whole spec about Taj is a red herring... may raise some questions but I don't think it spells her boot.
2nd - The "poison apple" needs to go. I have already spec'ed that the poison is coming from a person who is disruptive or who is not helping / contributing to tribal unity. This is not the time to be thinking end-game with so many challenges before the merge. As I recall last season Crystal said that Ace was "poison" at least in her eyes. (actually she referred to him as Satan) And what-his-face said that the "cancer" in the tribe was JT (I think that was his name - you know the one who was appointed leader then took a mental vacation and essentially quit) Both JT and Ace were out before the merge, both were considered poison to different people and those people in voting had the numbers to ensure their being voted out. I am watching to see who emerges as the person who is looking out for themselves... tribe be dammed. The most obvious one is Sandy who is acting like a loon and is not helping around the camp but does seem to put up major effort in challenges. She has already said in her confessionals that she is in it for herself... no one else. (FYI, I don't think she ever finds the HII on the beach) The other person who comes to mind is Ben/Coach. Why? Already he is plotting way ahead in the game. Like... looking at the finals. To me, he has come across as very arrogant. Anyone who thinks that by their "will" alone they can dictate a strategy (the strongest only will survive) without having spent one day in the tribe can only be perceived as arrogant or stupid. The dynamics of this game are too complex and those very dynamics can change on a dime if an unexpected twist is thrown in. The best survivors have been those who can be flexible to the changes that occur during the game. I don't think that Ben has given thought to any scenario except the one he has dreamt up in the comfort of his own home. If he pushes his agenda without a back-up plan... he could alienate a large portion of his tribe, could be distrusted and could very well go the same route as Ace. Early boot. As to the tremendous weight loss? Well, if he is the victum of a venom bite from a spider or snake that could explain his weight loss. Some of the more venomous bites from snakes or spiders can take a very long time to recover from and could be the cause of his weight loss. |

As an afterthought about a spider bite...I did some checking. There is the Brazilian Wandering Spider which is considered one of the most venomous in the
world. Along with the pain, there is also siginficant tissue necropsy (destruction / tissue is destroyed) associated with their bites. So if Ben was bitten
by one of those critters... it could very will explain his cane and his weight loss. Just something to think about.

IntoTemptation wrote: No prob, just pointing it out to you. I don't think she'll be gone. Her tribe has to be on crack if they don't get rid of Sandy first. Then again Probst made a rather concerning statement in blog... "Too bad, we always seem to lose a cute girl early. What is wrong with these people? Don't they realize this is their show? They should get rid of the ugly and boring people and keep the attractive and entertaining ones. Like Sydney. Please don't turn around and vote out Sydney next week." Got that from the Probst Blog Thread. Its just one of those things, maybe if her tribe does go to TC, they'll vote between Sandy and Sydney? IDK. It seems to early for her to go. |

Actually, thinking over everything we've learned from interviews, a Sydney boot makes sense here.
Consider the following- -Spencer, Sydney and Joe are in an alliance per Carolina's RTVW interview -Carolina said she "Thought Steven was weak"-I'm reading that as "He did better than I thought"- Steven's also on Jeff's Character list -The first ep hinted that JT/Steven team up -Taj outs herself this episode, causing herself to be targetted -Sydney and Joe aren't on Jeff's character list -Jeff made a comment in his blog about "please don't vote off the pretty people" I think that Taj is targetted this episode, but she manages to trump the Spencer/Sydney/Joe alliance by pulling together Steven, JT and Sandy to boot Sydney since she's physically the weakest of the three. Joe likely follows her out at some time during the pre-merge. |

I think the fact that Stephen, Erinn, and Debbie made his list means they last a while. The other people on the list have already emerged a bit or will be
characters regardless of being in the game a while. Like Sandy could go next week and still be a character.
I think the second episode is a hard one because it usually can be almost anybody. If Timbira loses my gut says Candace. If Jalapao loses I think it's a crap shoot between the three women. |
