Kind of ironic, since the most believable relationship that either Burke or George had were with each other as friends. I could take or leave either character at this point. After Isaiahgate, people were saying that it was difficult to separate the actor's behavior from the character and I'm finding that to be the case with Heigl/Izzy. I thought her public comments about the writing with respect to her nomination was the depth of classlessness (besides IW's antics) and sadly ironic given the "solidarity" that actors were supposed to have with the writers before and during the writers' strike. The heifer can fuck off. As for George/T.R., I always felt that he milked Isaiahgate for all he could (not that I blame him) and parlayed that into a laughable (and thankfully brief) turn as a leading man which exposed just how lacking he was in that role. With Burke out of the picture, they tried to do a similar thing with the Chief, and it didn't work nearly as well. And you have to wonder why the writers made George not only a failure (divorcee who happened to be the only intern in his class who failed the exam, when even Alex passed), but also a douche to Lexie (who has moved on to greener pastures). George can go too. |

This is just sad! Grey's Season 1-3 was my absolute favourite show and to be honest with you fine ppl, I haven't watched an episode since Denny came
back this year... This show's gone WAAAY down the shitter and I don't think they can win me back... I'm a lost cause! And that sucks

Then why you be postin' in dis thread!?
Dis thread is for da lovers not no haters. I have been with Grey's since the start so I am never gonna give up on them. I mean I am willing to take the leap with Shonda on the Denny situation. As a psychology major I have seen crazy shit. ANd I actually think it is interesting how they portray her illness through her eyes. |

survivorsims needs to find another board to post on if she doesn't want haters. That's kind of the point of Sucks.
As for the two that are leaving, they haven't been part of the main plots for weeks. It won't matter. |

George... eh who really cares
As for Izzy... I was a huge fan but if Katherine Heigl is just thinking that she is a big star now and leaves a good thing...... then may her career crash and burn..... |

Didn't anybody learn anything from Shelley Long's mistake?

TR really hasn't done anything (I think I saw in an episode of Law and Order: SVU a while back). I'd be surprised if he has thoughts that leaving the show is going to suddenly make him a star. It's not as if he's really on the show anymore. |

I can't help but LOL at the whole thing. At this point I could care less if they go. I am amazed that anyone would want to hire them. They both seem like
complete diva drama queens. Katherine was lucky Grey's hired her. I mean she's a pretty good actress and I've loved her since "My Father the
Hero" but it just seems like she shouldn't kick a gift horse in the mouth. I understand she is not happy and she wants off but does there have to be
this much publicity (drama) about it? Seems like it would hurt her career not help it. Juss sayin.
I already forgot about TR Knight. Was he in anything else besides Grey's? For the love of his career - I hope so. |

Maybe Heigl's thinking there'll be a CSI Miami-type show for her to fall back on as there was for David Caruso (of course, were that to happen,
she'd have to get over her deal with writing so below par that it should invalidate award nominations).

At this point, all I really want to happen is for Heigl to not get her Emmy nom. I would think the rest of the cast has to be at least a little annoyed that
they're clearly trying to give her all this prime crap.
It's like when Alias lost Will and Francie at the same time, both characters had been reduced to like one scene per episode by the time they were written out Huh? Francie who was all evil and stuff, and Will who they thought was the evil double only had one scene per eppy before they were gone? That's not how I remember it at all. Not to mention one of the best TV fights ever!!!!1 |

Heigl is not puling a Shelly Long. She's already commands one of the higher salaries in Hollywood:
Katherine Heigl has come a long way since carrying a gun-totting doll in 1998's Bride of Chucky. http://www.people.com/peo...ticle/0,,20244580,00.html |

If she keeps acting like an entitled bitch though no one will want to work with her.
As for material being Emmy worthy if Katherine thought last year's shit wasn't Emmy worthy she can't possibly think this illness and fucking ghosts shit is deserving. I swear the writers tried to give her the most ridiculous storyline possible so she'd never even be considered for an Emmy. |

As much as I hope otherwise, I personally think both will be fine (not big stars but they won't perish in hell). My gripe with TR though is why bitch about
not having anything to do. Just collect your 100K/episode and find some side work for over the summer (like a play or something). The people on House playing
Cameron and Chase have less to do and don't really complain all that much.
I would trade Burke's character for Izzie and George at this point. I don't like Isiah as a human being but I didn't have a hard time separating him from the character, and Burke to me was a good character. Izzie sucks and George was never leading man material. |
