Tim Roth is great, but Kelli Williams (the PhD) is just plain amateurish. She's got a great role, but she played it as if she was reading every line. I've seen her before on something, and I seem to remember her sucking on that, too.

I found the show pretty entertaining. I'll definitely watch it again.

This did OK, but not great, in the ratings last night.

It was interesting.
The murder plot was pretty predictable - you knew it wasn't the kid or the dad (too obvious), so that only left the principal. Didn't see the "why" coming, though. The other story with the politician was much better, even if it was only 15% of the show. The twist there was very good. Perhaps a bit too good, there wasn't any way anyone could have seen that coming...perhaps they needed to drop one hint about why he was seeing the girl. Good show, it will hold my attention after Idol. I thought Kelli Williams was good. Used to swoon over her in The Practice, so nice to see her on TV again. The guy who always tells the truth? Stupid character, they should probably get rid of him, and replace him with someone more "real". |

I just finished watching the pilot.
Pretty good, it's different enough from The Mentalist for me to be able to watch it. Tim Roth is great, and Kelli Williams is solid. |

Not bad, not great, considering the timeslot and the Idol overrun. It's basically a procedural show, albeit an overproduced one. It works on this level, but I'm not sure if it reaches up to the ego level of some of the cast members. |

I liked it better than the Mentalist. Definitely will go on my DVR list.

This show kicked ASS!!! I love love love The Mentalist, but I don't get the comparison. Completely different show. Cannot wait for the next ep. Tim
Roth rocks my world. Really loved his performance and I think the guy who practices "radical honesty" was fun. Goddess I was hoping the kid
wasn't really dead.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that a tear that comes out of the side opposite to your nose its a fake tear?

I kinda expected the Sarg to have raped a guy after the gay thing and it turns out the lady lied, but I was wrong.
But this guy is sooo fucked up. Poor girl. |

I thought tonight's episode was better than last week. I really like how he got the army basically to confess. Tim Roth has just the right amount of
arrogance and condescension.

So, will there be another "DON'T ANSWER BITCH" lawyer next week?
If I become a lawyer, I would not wanna be like that. Ambulance Chaser>That. |

if nothing else - this show makes me think everyone is lying to me. I'm watching for the signs. If I see their cheek, lips, eyes even slightly shift,
I'm on to them and I know they are lying!

Epi 1 tried too hard to accomplish too much in a pilot.
Epi 2 was much better paced and felt like an hour show instead of a typhoon. Still like Mentalist better but will keep watching both for now at least. |

Nice show, but Tim Roth's character is 2 parts Dr. House, 1 part Detective Crews (NBC's LIFE) and 1 part Patrick Jane (THE MENTALIST). But it's a
procedural; hardly gonna break new ground.
I do think the facial tells are a bit played up. I'm sure that's for television though. |

The difference in this show and the ones it's being compared to is that there is an actual person it's based on(albeit loosely). He's even a
consultant on the show if I remember correctly.
I like both it and the Mentalist, but in completely different ways. |
