Last night, I got this creepy sinking feeling that Stephanie is ripe to be the next Bachelorette. Imagine watching THAT much of her. I'm afraid I thought the same thing. Jason obviously had no "chemistry" with her all season, and yet (presumably) the producers kept her around. Is there a "ladies tell all" episode this season? If so, I suspect the amount of attention Stephanie gets from Chris will give us an idea of whether they're planning on her for the next chapter in the franchise. Hopefully they'll get away from that. Otherwise, all of the contestants will be vying more to get rejected and get their own season than to actually win and get dumped into obscurity a month after the finale. |

I just watched this for my wife and she also asked about Jason's house, wondering if it was really his. Naively I replied, "There's no way
they'd use a fake house. That would be even more disingenuous than everything else they do on this show." And I think Jillian is awesome. Something is
super hot about her. She seems really cool and laid back and normal.

If they did cast Steph as the next version they could call it "The Bachelorette: The Zombie Bride". They seem to like themes.
I think the Bachelorette will be clearer when we get down to the final two. I could see Melissa, Molly or Jillian also getting a spin-off if "J" (I just died a little inside to call him that) scorns either one at the altar. |

Stephanie's show should be called "The Widow". She'll have her pick of over 40 (the age, not the quantity) gentleman callers. Some will be widowers (Maybe a 9-11 survivor for drama), some will be divorcees - some will be never married. The winner will be the guy that agrees to send his kids to boarding school and be okay with never getting that sex that was promised during the courtship. |

I knew it wasn't his house the second we saw ty's room. It had a dresser, and a bed shaped like a car. Very sparsely decorated. No pictures on the
wall, no toy boxes, etc;

Two different houses meatball. When they were on the boat he pointed out the Sleepless in S house and they waved to the people in it, then Melissa met him at another house that also was on the water but was not his, even though they claimed it was. He lives inland. |

I would have thought Nikki to be a Bacherlorette contender until the 11-year relationship came out. Melissa would work (though I'd love Shannon or Megan).

Or she could just give our glass roses! I had to tell my mom about the Glass Menagerie comparison while we were watching this week, she thought it was quite
fitting.
I dunno, I thought maybe he was keeping her around because she was a mom and seemed like the sort of person he should want and was hoping some passion would kick in, and it just didn't. |
