Love and miss this show so much. The characters are so real, and the kids are always great for a laugh. I love that they let them be kids. I can't wait for
the premier! WOOHOO!

victalac wrote: Why would you want Patricia Arquette to lose weight? If NBC is going to show actors playing characters that most resemble real life people whose problems most resemble problems real people are going through, then I seriously doubt you need her to lose weight. It's not like we need dieting and thinness shoved down our throats yet once again. |

I agree, Patricia doesn't need to slim down. She needs a better network.

Fuck Patricia slimming down. That's bullshit. I love her just like she is. I do NOT need another barbie doll on my TV. There are plenty of them out
there as it is.

Seriously, she's playing a mother of 3... Making her lose weight is retarded.

Mypoody2 wrote: X on all that! Love this show. I didn't start watching until season 3. I saw one episode and loved it and DVR'd S3 until I was able to watch all of Seasons 1 & 2 before I continued. I am someone who can't stand to start a show midway through it. I have to see it from the beginning so I see all the character/plot development evolve from the start. Looking forward to Monday night -- Chuck, Heroes & Medium are a Monday night must see NBC for me. |

Um, if Patricia wants to lose weight it is her choice. I seriously doubt anyone would make her lose weight as she has been the same size (to greater or lesser
degrees) for the entire series run.
If she wants to lose weight, it is her fucking choice. |

I agree...she's fine. She's supposed to 'a mom' with 'skills'. So what if she's overweight or has crooked teeth. I'm so sick of
'the perfect' chicks on television. Nice to see a character who looks like a 'real mom'. Also LOVE the dad! Who wouldn't. I'm very
excited about the new season.

Frankly, I don't her weight is a problem. Go watch True Romance, an outstanding movie she did with Christian Slater way back when, and she had the same
body frame back then -- kind of heavyset, but not porky by any stretch. (The problem I think is that she didn't look like her slutbomb sister....)
Plus, in the ep where she dressed up all proper to meet Joe's boss with the Ali-loving wife, she looked terrific. The real issue ain't Alison's figure. The real issue is how they dress her. I loved loved loved this episode! Especially Bridgette and the sobbing mess she turned into after drawing explicit pictures of her teacher. lol

It was a good episode. I would have been more freaked out about Bridgette's pictures. Allison seemed surprisingly calm about it. I don't know why
but it always bugs me when she wakes up from a dream and they immediately do to a commercial break. It's not a big deal though. I still like the show.
I think they dress her like that because she's suppose to be a typical family. They've had a lot of money problems and her character seems like the typical mom who spends money on everyone else and not herself. |

It always bothers me when Max Casella guest stars. I can't separate him from Doogie Howsers dim bulb best friend.
Loved the smirk on the school psychologists face when they were discussing the naked pics. |

Great show. LOVED the naked teacher drawings (what a wuss of a teacher). I just love the way the parents handle these situations at the school Very believable.
If I had some psychologist present and ready to pick my child apart, I'd say, "we'll discuss this at home first, c'mon honey."
The re-incarnated husband and tie in with the 'book' and 'sister-in-law' was well written too. |
